Well.....

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I didn't like this nearly as much as I thought I would. I get ZERO marshmallow and ZERO milk notes after spraying this on my skin. It's cozy, yes, but I don't get any of the notes other people are smelling.

To me, it just smells like smoky, musky wood with a hint of sweetness. It kind of smells like a candle. I feel like maybe I would like it better if I layered it with something else. I don't absolutely hate it, but I'm pretty underwhelmed with what I'm smelling. I really wanted to smell something lactonic lol.

I will say the longevity is pretty good, though! It lasted a good 6-7 hours on my skin.

For Marshmallow Lovers

On me, this opens with an absolutely luscious sweet cream note, so cozy. I wish it lasted a little longer, but the marshmallow develops very quickly. It is a very realistic marshmallow, sweet, fluffy, not to heavy. This was a solinote on me for a long time. I really didn't get any noticeable musk, just a bit of powder with the marshmallow. I found it a bit dull, but if you love marshmallow, you might love it. Still, this is not a linear fragrance. The tonka and mahogany notes bring a richness and depth to the fragrance. On me, it turned into a very strong pipe tobacco accord, which some people would absolutely love, but it's not for me. I do appreciate how this develops on my skin, and I think it is well done.

The fragrance lasts for hours, and be careful applying because the projection is monster strong. My husband came in from another room to ask if I was smoking a pipe! Although some people think this leans feminine, but I disagree. I found the dry down rather masculine, which is fine with me. I think anyone who likes marshmallow should at least test this, but it is not a good idea to blind buy.

What is this??

I was so excited for this fragrance from how everyone raves about it. How it is this sweet, creamy, soft, milky, marshmallow heavy fragrance… this is straight up mens cologne. It is very very woody and spicy. I smell like the men in my family with this on. Where is the milky marshmallow everyone speaks of??

Genuinely in shock I am in the minority of reviews here, but I do not smell ANYTHING warm or creamy. It smells very sharp, dry woody, and almost identical to the fuzzy fruity scent of throat numbing spray. Had to blind ask my friends (pretended to be hyped about it to get their honest reaction) and everyone said it smells like cough syrup.

so this is love

This isn't something I would have guessed I would like based on just looking at the note pyramid, but I got a sample and fell so in love. It is creamy, rich, a little nutty, with some almost spicy woodiness layered in. I usually go for scents that are more overtly feminine, but I think this one is very truly unisex and would work for a variety of people. On me it is sweet but definitely not overtly so. To me, it is much more aromatic than gourmand. It layers nicely, and, best of all, it lasts all day and into the night on my skin. Definitely one of my best fragrance purchases in a very long time, and I will happily keep this as part of my collection.
