THIS IS VANILLA 28
I'm not a fan of dupes and unfortunately, I've fallen for them too many times. So far, there has always been something that didn't smell like the original to my nose. And that's actually how it should be. I've sworn to myself to buy the original instead, true to the motto "if you buy cheap, you always buy twice!"

By chance, a few days ago I stumbled upon Fleur Antique while watching an influencer on YouTube. Since I guard my Kayali 10ml Vanilla 28 bottle like my own eye and use it very sparingly, I became curious and intrigued.

Today I was in the city, so I went straight to Müller and headed for the LA RIVE shelf, searched for the scent, sprayed it, and... no, it couldn't be. I thought I'd let it dry down first, and then the scent would change enough to smell completely different. But that didn't happen. I sprayed it several more times, on strips, on my skin, always with the same feeling that I didn't smell any difference from Kayali.

For €7.99, I took it home and compared it again. I'm sorry, and I'm sure it's a personal perception, as everyone experiences scents differently, but this time I really can't smell any difference from the original.

I'll continue testing for a few more days; maybe I'll notice something that I didn't catch in such a short time, but so far I can wholeheartedly recommend all fans of Vanilla 28 to try Fleur Antique for themselves if you want to save some money. This caramelized sugary vanilla is just so great and has incredible longevity. And all at this unbelievably low price.

However, the name of the fragrance "Fleur Antique" doesn't make any sense to me at all. I have no idea what it has to do with flowers/blooms.

Incredibly Exciting
After watching a presentation by a YouTuber about this fragrance, I was incredibly curious.

Disappointed by "Molecule 01 | Escentric Molecules," which simply wouldn't develop on my skin and that I found so great on others, I hoped for a better performance from this scent. And I was not disappointed.

Escape the Ordinary is exactly what I dreamed of in my molecule perfume. It captivates me right from the first spray and develops beautifully on my skin.

Freshness, woodiness, synthetic notes, powderiness... I get all of this from this perfume. Sometimes all at once, then it hides for a while. And sometimes I only perceive individual components. However, I don't get any floral notes here at all.

But no matter how it presents itself, it is simply enchanting and delights me anew throughout the day.

I treated myself to the bottle for Easter now, after only having a decant until now. I'm already looking forward to it so much and can hardly wait.

A Fragrance and Bottle for Memories
I fondly remember the 90s and associate it with an incredibly beautiful time.

The fragrance that mainly accompanied me back then is Tocade.

Having almost been forgotten, I recently stumbled upon it again and thought I would check if it was still available.

It seems it is no longer produced, yet I discovered it on a completely unfamiliar perfume website.

I couldn't help but order it. Now that it has arrived, of course, I have evolved, and I no longer wish to use it.

Instead, I now enjoy the beautiful bottle daily, and when I smell it, I can beam myself back to a past time and indulge in memories whenever I want.

Simply beautiful.

Nice but...
... it doesn't catch me as much as the other Cheirosa scents.

Violet and vetiver are very prominent here, and I have come to realize that anything containing vetiver is not really my thing.

However, it is still pleasant to wear, as it comes across as very unobtrusive.

Suitable for everyday use, for sports, and for any season.

Disappointed
When you know the other scents from the label, the expectations from us gourmand fans are naturally high.

Accordingly, I was quite disappointed with the heart and base notes of Lemon Tarts.

However, the top note initially gave hope, as I did perceive a beautiful sweet creamy lemon note upon the first spray.

Unfortunately, this only lasted a few seconds, and was followed by something licorice-like and synthetic, which did not change in the base note either.

For me, unfortunately, this is not wearable, luckily I only bought a sample of it.

Such a shame.
