Given the name of this fragrance, do I seriously need to write what this juice smells like? I am a fan of this brand, which always manages to bring creative fragrances to the market at a really good price. As I initially received a nice sample package from Greece, I first had time to sniff my way through the olfactory world of this "Grasse graduate". I was particularly taken with his gourmands. And since I love baked goods, this is my favorite fragrance from his collection.
Synthetic?
How authentic is a cake supposed to smell out of a bottle? Or does anyone believe that little Theodoros visits a tranquil bakery in Iraklio, buys a juicy lemon cake there and then pours it - together with a liter of milk - into a container and simply calls it perfume? Ok...of course it could have been like that.... I'll just leave it at that. I find this fragrance simply delicious! It smells no more or less like a laboratory product than
Casamorati - Lira Eau de Parfum or
Bake. LT is a fairly linear fragrance with little development, which I'm sure some will find negative. However, I get exactly what it says on the bottle for a few hours and am not surprised after a while.... with whatever.
The shelf life is not really long. I have to top up after 4 hours, which I really like to do. The sillage also remains subtle and does not fill the room. But this would also be rather annoying with a sugary-sweet gourmand. P/L - as already mentioned - very good. Sourcing is a little difficult, as the fragrances are only available online and samples are not so easy to come by. But if you ask nicely, you will receive a generous collection of samples.
