Best cheap gourmand!

I was skeptical about Kalotinis being the "king of gourmands" but I have to admit he really does a good job at a fair price point.

First it starts with a warm, creamy base and a juicy almost cleaner vibes lemon, that fortunately fades after a while and what's left is a creamy, not too sweet biscuit base that tarts have alongside some tame lemon zest.
This might not be exactly a hot weather fragrance but it sure does well as a transition season gourmand for whoever can't take really heavy gourmands.
At a REALLY good price point, this is just awesome. Give it a try!

Good gourmand

Lemon Tart is a realistic fragrance: I perceive the shortcrust pastry of a lemon tart, all wonderfully executed.
It's not sweet, it seems freshly baked, a truly well-executed creation.
I'm not much of a gourmand lover, few strike me, but it will strike a chord with lovers of the genre, it couldn't be otherwise.

THE DANCE OF ZESTINESS ON THE GOURMAND LAND

[1]- The common things in T.K perfumes that I have:

- Joyable, wearable, tangible and valuable!

- When you found yourself in front of two neighboring stores that serve the same (food/thing/product/item/content), but you preferred one over the other? Yes, it is the same in the world of perfumes, it is that hidden touch that distinguishes T.K from others, Theodoros is doing great job.

- T.K is making high quality realistic scents, it’s no longer a question of good or bad, it's a question of taste and desire, nobody able to impose on you when you are supposed to eat lemon tart, in the morning or in the evening, so if it's not your thing (gourmand scents), just stay away.

[2]- How about Lemon Tart in a few brief words:

- In the opinion you will feel the zesty note that will not last long and fade away in the dry down to that creamy gourmand finish.

- For me you can wear it any time, except the official work meeting with the strangers (outside your office environment) and official occasions in general

Nice lemon juicy tart

Sampling Theodoros Kalotinis Lemon Tart, a 2023 release and fittingly approximating the scent of a lemon-led pastry, with (in my opinion) a lot more lemon and tart than crust, vanilla, and sugar. Akro Bake has a bit more balance of these two concepts, by contrast, and for that reason, I prefer Bake, but Lemon Tart shifts the balance in favor of a juicy lemon note, still sweet and somewhat grounded, should the wearer prefer. I love that both options exist, though, and this represents a further diversification of an already deep and interesting house based out of Greece that’s fortunately now available in its entirety in the US.

As with most of the line, Lemon Tart is EDP concentration and priced at $55 for 50ml, really an unusual value nowadays in the current market. The house is sold in the US only via Luckyscent, from which I obtained my sample.

SWEET CREAMY LEMON

A really well-made lemon gourmand: not too sweet, not too sour... Just right. The opening is "chef’s kiss": a realistic buttery pie crust paired with a creamy lemon that smells like sweet lemon yogurt. Or lemon cheesecake filling. Mouthwatering.

As it settles, the lemon turns zestier and a soft vanilla peeks out. It loses some of that buttery, creamy richness from the opening, which is a tiny heartbreak, because that pie crust note is gorgeous… and sadly clocks out after about 30 minutes. Rude. I wish it stayed longer.

That said, for the price, this is a fantastic sweet lemon. It’s mild, smooth, not artificial, not candy-ish, and very easy to wear. No lemon cleaner, no sour face. Just a cozy, creamy lemon pastry.
