Could also be a designer
Straight to the point:

The "Marzocco | Roberto Ugolini" is really a perfect all-rounder fragrance, especially for the summer.

You never go wrong with this fragrance. It is always well received by those around you, as it is fresh, smooth, light and very pleasant. It does not offend anywhere thanks to its composition.
Despite everything, it has a very high-quality and mature feel.

No joke, the first time I spray it on I even get "Eros (Eau de Toilette) | Versace" vibes. It's probably the citrusy vanilla combination.

Even though it has a classic DNA, it is very modern. So don't worry, you won't get any old-fashioned citrus here.

So if you like fresh, high-quality and simple fragrances, you'll be very well served here.

Only the durability is not the best and I have to say that despite the quality, the OVP price is a bit high, because in my opinion the DNA could also come from a designer. But if you get it on offer, you won't go wrong.

It always works, but if you want to stand out and polarize, you can go for the "17 Rosso | Roberto Ugolini".

Different than expected, but still good.
I have now also added the Orange Flamingo to my collection.

When I tested it for the first time, I was surprised and yet not surprised.

I imagined it in 2 ways.

Since both Herbert's and Marc's ranges are very similar in my opinion and the stickers under the bottle are also very similar, I thought that the DNAs could also be very similar.

I imagined it to be more like "17 Rosso | Roberto Ugolini" or "Giardino di Boboli | Roberto Ugolini", only with orange. I thought it had this creamy, silky kind of fabric softener base and then a fruity, juicy orange on top. So creamy and fruity.

The 2nd type I imagined when I read Neroli was a really classic Neroli fresh fragrance.

It became the 2nd type.

Even though I would have liked to have had the 1st version, I was still pleasantly surprised.

It starts directly with a load of fresh neroli and jasmine. It really reminds me of a rather classic fresh fragrance with fabric softener. It then lasts pretty much an hour with the citrusy tart orange note and then goes completely into fabric softener mode and the orange disappears for the most part. Anyone who likes to smell fresh laundry will love this fragrance. And it stays that way. Very single-grade.

The performance is actually quite strong. Wore 2 sprays to work today and left a test strip in our warehouse. Even after 3 hours every time I went into the warehouse I got a thick cloud of Flamingo from 1 meter away. It still smelled like freshly sprayed.
The scent was still very present on me after 5 hours and then it (slowly) started to fade. But it could also be that the nasal numbness slowly set in.

The fragrance DNA smells like it should only last 2 hours, but 2 sprays feel like 5 and easily last 8-12 hours. I also wore a jacket with a collar so it definitely wore off a bit.

I have to say that you are a bit disappointed at first. But the longer you smell it, the better it gets. I don't like very many freshies, so I'm not so easy to convince when it comes to this fragrance. Somehow, though, you can't get enough of the fresh "wash".

This makes it a very successful everyday fragrance for me and possibly the first real freshie that will stay with me.

No discussion. For eternity.
Yes, this is going to be a pretty positive review, as the 17 Rosso is the non plus ultra for me.

The fragrance actually combines everything you would expect from a fragrance.

It has a unique DNA that didn't exist before.
It has very good sillage, projection and longevity, thanks to the high fragrance oil content and high-quality ingredients. In addition, the fragrance is not overpowering and works in both summer and winter.

It therefore combines everything that a complete and "complete" all-rounder, signature fragrance or whatever you want to call it must have.

Note: every fragrance has a specific function. Of course, not every fragrance has to combine everything and most of them shouldn't. But that doesn't change the fact that this fragrance does.

The bottle is classic and yet has a modern touch. The sprayer is of high quality, even if the juice sometimes sprays a little thickly. However, this is difficult to avoid due to the high fragrance oil content.

Num about the fragrance in detail:

It starts directly with the peach and rose combo, paired with tangy mint in the background.
The mint disappears at some point. A medium dose of pink pepper is added. This is the perfect choice, as pink pepper "works" more brightly and still gives the fragrance something masculine and slightly spicy. But why the fragrance is such a work of art:

After a while, the mint disappears and the fragrance becomes slightly woody. The combination of rose and wood is so extremely smooth and blends so silky that you think it is a natural wood rose. This is where you can recognize the quality, as the individual elements blend together perfectly and do not stand out individually like a rough puzzle.

However, the fragrance is not a rose/oud or rose/wood fragrance in the classic sense. So don't worry, it doesn't smell like this DNA. It's completely different.

Longevity is very strong. You can even smell the fragrance on yourself for 6-8 hours. But I think performance is more like 10-12, if you take away the habituation of the nose.

You can still smell the fragrance on a strip the next day, as if you had just sprayed a perfume on it an hour ago.

The price for such a niche fragrance is also fair and you can get it brand new for 160-180. Which is absolutely top.

The fragrance is very flexible. Office? 1 spray. In the city? 4-5 sprays. In the hot summer? 1 spray.

I don't know if it's my batch or the cold, but my sample from the summer was more woody, while my bottle is more fruity. But that could actually be due to the temperature and the young age of my bottle.

The high proportion of oil and natural ingredients makes it all the more certain that the fragrance will improve over time.

That's why 17 Rosso is truly a masterpiece for me, as it combines everything a fragrance needs to have. Nevertheless, you also have to be able to identify with the fragrance. When I sprayed it on for the first time, I knew that this was me and this was my fragrance.

Tony Iommi Full fragrance history in detail
It starts with a very sweet, slightly sour rum and passion fruit.

Many people say they can't smell the passion fruit. However, my guess is that, as the passion fruit is also very sweet and sour, many people overlook the combination and think the sour sweetness only comes from the rum, when in fact they perceive the two in combination.

After a few minutes:

You can easily recognize the leather in the background. For me, however, it is not black leather, but rather brown leather in this case.
If you smell closely, you can also already detect the caramel note.

The bed of tonka bean and vanilla can also be detected, but very subtly.

However, I don't know whether this sugary brown note also comes a little from the cinnamon. The cinnamon note here in Iommi is definitely not the classic cinnamon note that you perceive in "Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" or other cinnamon fragrances. The cinnamon is very crystalline and sugary, if that makes sense. So very smoothly integrated with the rum note.

After 15-30 minutes:

The sweetness recedes a little and I also think that the patchouli now comes out a little better. The fragrance is now a little more masculine. The scent is not floral, but it also has something slightly silky (really slightly), which is perhaps the cranesbill. I'll be honest, I don't know what cranesbill smells like, but that could at least explain the note or why others perceive rose.

I also have to say that so far I don't find it as dark as everyone says. I was imagining something more leathery. I was thinking more of a Boozy "Ombré Leather (2018) (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" fragrance. But it's not bright either.

After 30-60 minutes:

Towards the end of the top note, I have to say, it picks up quite a bit. Oh damn, it's getting really smooth.
The opening is mega nice, not a bit confusing like Naxos. But very sweet and not quite that sexy bad boy noir vibe that everyone talks about. It's still sweetly rum-like, but now the brown leather is slowly coming in and the individual notes are really coming together. Okay, now it's getting really nice.

It is now boozy, leathery (lighter leather), sweet and slightly creamy. It really gives you those "I do what I want, but I'm still sophisticated" vibes.

After 4-6 hours:

It should be noted that it carries this rum/crystalline cinnamon note with it the whole time. I could have imagined it disappearing and becoming a leathery vanilla gourmand-like scent.

I always test after the test strip with 2 sprays behind the ears. This is perfect to avoid becoming noseblind too quickly and to check the performance.

I would say it radiates strongly for around 4 hours. After that it gets weaker or the nose has started to get used to it. I can still smell it after 6 hours, but it is weaker/drydown. Rum remains at the start, but the warm bed of which it is made is now coming through more and more.

The next morning I had another little wiff as soon as I got up in bed to grab my water. Doesn't mean that it still projects a lot, but at least with 2 sprays it lasts until the next day so that you can even get a small wave. So performance is excellent.

Regarding the strength again: It is present all the time, but is never annoying. So sometimes you might think it's not as strong as everyone says, but that's a bit deceptive because it doesn't hit the wall like an "Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton".

All in all, a very unique fragrance. It has something to say. You also feel very smooth with it and I also think it's a fragrance that doesn't offend so much and will appeal to many people around you. Not as dark as many say I think. Leather yes, but I would classify it more as a boozy fragrance.

Conclusion:

Bad Boy Noir YES, but not quite as dirty as everyone says :D
