Rice can also be elegant!
for me,
Santal-Basmati is a beautiful, elegant evergreen - especially for fall and spring.
I really like sandalwood anyway. But I like it even more when it smells so fine and creamy, as it does here.
The basmati note complements the sandalwood wonderfully.
I can clearly detect the rice note at the start, but it becomes a little more subtle as the fragrance progresses. This may disappoint some rice lovers. For me, it's just right. I really love the scent of freshly cooked basmati rice. But in a perfume, it makes the fragrance wearable for me in light doses and the combination just smells classy to me.
Cashmeran also makes the fragrance somehow cozy and warm, which is why I find it especially great in autumn and spring. I don't notice much of the iris and patchouli.
The longevity is in the upper mid-range for me, just like the sillage. It is noticeable, but there are much stronger fragrances.
Simply a great everyday companion that makes me feel "well-dressed"!

Between classic chic and modern understatement
I've been looking for a clean scent that always works for a long time. I sometimes like fresh laundry fragrances, but they quickly get on my nerves. Clean skin fragrances that have a salty note aren't really my thing either.
Fleur de Peau Eau de Parfum is somehow different. It has something classic about it, which is probably due to the mixture of iris, musk and aldehydes. However, it doesn't seem old-fashioned to me, but rather has something of French chic about it.
In the opening, the pepper comes through in a pleasantly tingling way, and I can easily detect ambrette seeds throughout. But what I perceive longer and more present is a fresh, dry, clean iris that surrounds me almost like a molecule - carried by the clean musk.
This fragrance doesn't overwhelm you, but is somehow always there and even after a long day at work, it was still perceived by those around me.
For me, it is the perfect blend of sophisticated, classic-chic and modern. Perhaps it is simply timeless. In any case, I am delighted to have found my clean skin fragrance.

What does prickly pear actually smell like?
I admit it, I bought this fragrance blind and I bought it with a hair perfume. I didn't really want to do that again... I once saw Ilio in a perfumery, but unfortunately didn't smell it. After that I researched it and somehow the description didn't let me go.
I don't know prickly pear in nature. But the description of its scent sounded heavenly to me for summer. Fresh and slightly fruity, but not sweet. Some people here also described it as watery. And that's exactly how I perceive it - watery-fresh, slightly fruity and somehow special. I was a little skeptical because some people here described the air as somewhat oppressive. As my skin gets on quite well with jasmine, that hasn't put me off yet.
Fortunately, when Ilio finally arrived and I sprayed it on for the first time, I immediately thought "oh, it's beautiful" and was thrilled. It opens really beautifully for me - fresh, slightly fruity and the way prickly pear is supposed to smell. As it progresses, jasmine comes through a little more strongly and it becomes a little more floral and sweeter. However, it never loses its freshness and lightness for me and I find that iris is perfectly balanced with a slightly cool powderiness. I also keep noticing the beautiful prickly pear.
Sprayed on my clothes and in combination with the hair perfume, it lasts a good 6-7 hours. I think that's perfectly fine for a fresh fragrance.
I am very happy to have Ilio in my collection now. For me, it's a really great and special summer fragrance that puts me in a good mood and yet somehow also makes me feel elegant. A big recommendation from me!

Fresh, sunny energy
I can't always handle citrusy-fresh fragrances. They are often too pungent for me. I've also rarely had any luck with tea notes, even though I really like tea. Melody of the Sun - what a beautiful and apt name, by the way - is a different story.
Melody of the Sun starts off wonderfully citrusy and fresh and exudes a good mood and energy. It has some acidity from the grapefruit and is also slightly tart. The fruity notes give it a little sweetness, but it remains light.
I perceive the fragrance's progression as rather linear. The citrus remains, becomes a little softer and I think I can now smell more green tea and mate. I also don't perceive it as very synthetic. But it lasts quite well on me for a freshie - if that's what synthetics are for, that's fine by me.
I've been wearing Melody of the Sun for the second summer now. Whether in the office, in my free time or on vacation. It lifts my mood, makes me feel fresh and well-groomed and is never too much.
What a beautiful, sunny and citrusy tea fragrance!

Beautifully invigorating!
I love spicy fragrances. I only realized this over time on my fragrance journey. I used to think I liked it as lovely, sweet, creamy and soft as possible.
But spicy fragrances give me something else. They are often stimulating, interesting and deeper. Awake is no exception.
As the name suggests, the fragrance starts off incredibly spicy, fresh and stimulating. A blend of the scent you get when you open a bag of coffee, cardamom and a dash of lemon. What more could you want to wake up in the morning?
Awake then develops beautifully on my skin. The coffee fades a little. The fragrance is no less spicy, but a little milder, softer, sweet and balsamic.
So first you get the great, invigorating coffee scent and then a wonderful wearable fragrance that is present all day and smells interesting, but doesn't knock anyone out. Lasting power and sillage are in the good, upper mid-range for me.
With Awake, you don't have to worry about smelling like a walking coffee bean all day long. For me, it's the perfect blend!
