Fresh, Sunny Energy
I can't always handle citrus-fresh scents. Often they are too piercing for me. I've also rarely had luck with tea notes, even though I really like tea. With Melody of the Sun - what a beautiful and fitting name, by the way - it's different.

Melody of the Sun starts beautifully citrus-fresh and radiates good mood and energy. It has a bit of acidity from the grapefruit and is also slightly bitter. The fruity notes give it some sweetness, but it remains light.

I perceive the scent development as rather linear. The citrus remains present, becomes a bit softer, and I believe I can now smell green tea and mate more distinctly. I don't find it very synthetic either. But it lasts quite well on me for a freshie - if synthetics are responsible for that, I'm fine with it.

I've been wearing Melody of the Sun for the second summer now. Whether at the office, in my free time, or on vacation. It lifts my spirits, makes me feel fresh and well-groomed, and is never too much.

What a beautiful, sunny, and citrusy tea scent!

Like on Clouds…
It got me right away! So beautifully warm-cared-for, creamy, and sensual.

Right from the start, it smells very creamy, milky, and clean, yet warm. I feel as if I have just stepped out of Cleopatra's bath, freshly moisturized, with a delicate vanilla scent on me. Gradually, I notice the tuberose and the fine, soft vanilla more. But the white flowers hold back so pleasantly that it never becomes too much.

I perceive it for a good 7-8 hours. The sillage is rather moderate, but if you spray it on your clothes, it radiates a bit.

I do detect a certain similarity to "Blanche Bête | Liquides Imaginaires." However, if that one is too much for you, you could be happy with this. I can also imagine wearing Rolling in Love during the day and Blanche Bête in the evening.

All in all, a great, well-groomed fragrance! I am in love.

Beautifully invigorating!
I love spicy scents. I only realized this over time during my fragrance journey. I used to think I preferred it as floral, sweet, creamy, and soft as possible.

But spicy scents give me something different. They are often stimulating, interesting, and deeper. Just like "Awake."

As the name suggests, the fragrance starts off incredibly spicy, fresh, and invigorating. A blend of the scent that wafts out when you open a bag of coffee, cardamom, and a splash of lemon. What more could you want to really wake up in the morning?!

Awake then develops beautifully on my skin. The coffee scent fades a bit. The fragrance remains spicy, but becomes somewhat milder, softer, sweetish, and balsamic.

So you first get the wonderful, invigorating coffee scent, and then a beautiful wearable fragrance that is present all day and smells interesting, but doesn't overwhelm anyone. Longevity and sillage are in the good, upper middle range for me.

With Awake, you don't have to worry about smelling like a walking coffee bean all day. For me, this is the perfect blend!

You Refined Tuberose!
I don't know if the word "refined" is a bit outdated, but it fits this fragrance so well for me.

And I also don't know what's wrong with me that I want to dedicate another review to a tuberose scent… I always thought I didn't get along well with that note. But once again, it shows that it really depends on the overall composition.

The fragrance starts off very peppery and with a lot of fresh coriander. Honestly, I don't know what Davana smells like, and I can't really pick out the rum either. But the opening is quite interesting. Gradually, coconut joins in, and more and more tuberose comes along, making the scent creamier. However, it never loses its fresh twist. I also get a bit of Blanche Bete vibes in between, but it smells more summery, less sweet, and the coconut is a bit "drier," perhaps due to the hay note.

The fragrance has a good to moderate sillage. It lasts on me from morning to evening but becomes very close to the skin after 6-7 hours.

I only have my decant for now, but the scent is addictive… By the way, I first tested it on paper and found it quite awful. Luckily (or unfortunately - my poor wallet…) I tested it on skin afterward. :-)

When Giving in to a Hype Finally Pays Off
Do you know that feeling when you see or read so many videos and comments about a fragrance that you've imagined how it smells 123456 times?
I find it beautiful, exciting, and dangerous at the same time. Because you can quickly end up disappointed. Unfortunately, that has happened to me more than once.

There was talk of Raffaello, Maldives, milky coconut dream... Ah, it sounded too good to be true. And then this bottle looks so picturesque and beautiful. We don't even need to talk about the name...

This time, I was so careful that I ordered a 10 ml decant first. But I can spoil it already by saying that after a week, I reordered the bottle.

When I first sprayed the fragrance, I was a bit puzzled about why it smells like Raffaello to so many people. But then it actually dried down so wonderfully milky-creamy that I could understand the association. Tuberose is often dangerous for me, but here it is beautifully intertwined with jasmine, adding depth without being too overpowering. Tonka bean and vanilla make it sweet, but not too sweet. I perceive the cocoa as a gentle whisper.

The fragrance has a good sillage - I've been approached about it several times. And the longevity is also decent. All in all, I have to say that the fragrance is simply wonderful. Special, creamy, elegant, dreamy. And I'm glad that it was worth following this hype for once. :-)
