Summer scent in the winter constellation
According to a Greek mythological tradition, Orion is a great hunter who hunted Pleione, the mother of the Pleiades, with his dogs Canis Major and Canis Minor.

This story already includes a large part of the essential winter constellations in the Northern Hemisphere: Orion, Lesser and Greater Dog, the Pleiades. Therefore, for the astronomy-savvy fragrance lover, the namesake Orion as a winter constellation may seem a bit inappropriate for a summer fragrance.

After the little digression into Greek mythology and astronomy, we now come to the essentials, after all, it is not primarily about the name, but about the fragrance and the convinced me all along the line.

After my bottle of Creed Aventus bought years ago ran out, I was looking for a suitable replacement. The fragrance I already liked very much, but after I have noticed of the recently declining quality of Creed Aventus, it seemed to me at the time to look around for alternatives. So I came for the first time on Orion and have me directly times a sample sent to be allowed to test him.

After I had sprayed me two spritzes, I immediately perceived my old familiar Aventus pineapple note, which, however, is surrounded by a also quite strongly present spice. Is it thyme, oregano, or even both? For my nose it's hard to say, but I think I can smell both spices and for me it makes the fragrance more interesting, because the top note is well known, but reinterpreted by the spices. Apple and bergamot I smell explicitly not out, maybe they mix well with the pineapple note, maybe my nose is not yet fine enough in this regard, but I take the two at most a little rounding the fragrance in the background perceive.
In the further course, the spices rather step into the background and leave after about an hour of the citrus fruitiness of the fragrance the spotlight. Now I smell clearly the really nice pineapple note, which again reminds me strongly of Creed Aventus, but nevertheless by the subtle spice and by fine green notes (probably by the birch) again reinterprets old familiar and is therefore by no means a dupe, but has its own right to exist.
This fruitiness with the subtle spice pulls the fragrance also through to the end.
Even in the drydown, the fragrance is, as I said, still quite fruity. One notices, however, now a certain woodiness, but I can not define closer, maybe it's the musk, maybe it's the cedar, but oud or incense I do not perceive, but what I also do not consider negative.

Durability and sillage are absolutely top notch, at least on my skin. If I spray me in the morning with Orion, I smell it throughout the day and even in the evening the scent is still well perceptible. Convincing all along the line. The time for this fragrance is, as already angeteasert, definitely the summer.

All in all, I find the fragrance extremely well done. One recognizes the inspiration to Creed Aventus, everyone knows the fragrance DNA, to which Orion of Tiziana Terenzi ties. But Orion interprets this in a new, very unique way that I personally find extremely appealing. It should also be noted that Orion completely outshines Aventus in terms of fragrance performance. I can highly recommend Orion by Tiziana Terenzi to anyone who, for whatever reason, is looking for an Aventus alternative

Country Air
After I was allowed to smell so far some really good fragrances from LV, such as Sur La Route, L'Immensite and, my favorite, Ombre Nomade, I had to participate in a sharing for Pur Lud to also test the "flagship" from this house.

When the bottling arrived, of course it had to be tested immediately, so I treated myself to a good spritz on the wrist. Immediately, I detected a good dose of country air. For the village kids among you, the smell will probably be burned into your memory when it's spring, the temperatures slowly exceed 15°C and the farmer has fertilized the nearby field again to such an extent that the village fishing pond eutrophies almost immediately. This "country air" is, to my mind, the top note of Pur Oud and that is exactly my childhood PTSD.

Not so bad, I thought to myself, that's just the top note. It'll fade soon and get better, so leave it on and smell it again at half an hour. So I smelled it again after 30 minutes and the improvement I was hoping for was marginal. Still my wrist smelled like a cow barn. After an hour and a half on my wrist, this very unpleasant and penetrating note ultimately dissipated and let through a nevertheless quite pleasant woody scent that actually lingered the entire time.

What I was allowed to determine after I tested the Pur Oud for me, is that this type of fragrances, which have often been called "Stinky Ouds" here, are probably absolutely nothing for my nose, provided that the Pur Oud is a representative representative of this fragrance genre. I personally can the Pur Oud absolutely nothing abgewinnen, but that could also be due to the fact that I have generally smelled no other fragrance in which oud is so strongly in the foreground.

The performance of the fragrance is pretty rad, though. On my wrist I smelled him all day and after a spray from the TZ has the whole room smelled like a cow barn. H / S are so top!

I can not say anything about the price because, as I said, this is the first fragrance I have tested where oud is in the foreground. Therefore, I have no comparison fragrance and can give in this regard also no assessment.

Give him time!
At least that's how it was for me. When I bought my Ombre Nomade, I bought, among other things, a sample of Sur la Route, which of course I had to test immediately. My first encounter with the fragrance was difficult. The lemon is extremely dominant and didn't appeal to me at first smell, so it disappeared again in my sample collection. After some time, I decided to give it a second chance, where I liked it much better. I guess there's more to it than just lemon. The third time he has then finally opened to me in its complexity, what a horny summer scent!

The fragrance starts, (spoiler alert) very citrusy, with a very natural and very present citronatnote, which is neither too sour nor in any way bitter, which also remains spotlight over the entire period. After about two hours, the lemon does take a bit of a backseat, allowing the other scents to join it. He slowly gets a very mild peppery and then also the special twist in the fragrance comes out: grass!
Under this you can now imagine little, so imagine the following: It's spring, the sun has so slowly really power. You go outside the front door and your neighbor has just mowed the lawn. That's the note that triggers flight reflexes in allergy sufferers, but mostly brings feelings of happiness to others, and that's exactly what this scent does. But don't worry, my girlfriend also has an allergy to grasses and at least she hasn't run away from me yet because of this perfume. :D On the contrary, she also really likes him.
In the drydown, the citrus notes also remain noticeable, but the fragrance then gets a very light, from me not closer definable green touch.

The fragrance itself is extremely high quality and has, like most perfumes of the brand a little twist that makes it extremely special. Durability and sillage are extremely good for a citrus-fresh fragrance. On the clothes I take him even after a good three days still well perceived.

Now to the price. What I do not understand is why the fragrances of LV are generally poorly rated here in terms of price / performance. Yes, they are expensive, but for most fragrances, the price is simply justified for the quality of the scents. And there I want to limit myself now specifically to the Sur La Route: a citrus-fresh fragrance with such a performance and a very creative twist by the grass note can be found highly rare.

In summary: Extremely creative summer fragrance that I can highly recommend!

All-rounder
The title says it all about this fragrance.
The part you can always and everywhere wear, whether shopping in the city, at work, at dinner with the girlfriend, in the evening with the guys in the beach bar in Mallorca. For sports, however, I would actually not recommend it. But otherwise with Bleu de Chanel my all-rounder.

As many before me have noted, the fragrance starts very peppery with lots of bergamot, then ambroxan comes through. Lavender I personally do not perceive, but quite later little vanilla and star anise.

The durability is really extremely good for a fragrance in the price range. Sprayed on the clothes in the morning, it is still noticeably present in the evening. Also, I smell the fragrance by far not as often as it is sometimes presented.

All in all, a wonderful perfume to which I have never had any negative feedback. The part is in my opinion one of the few fragrances that you can safely buy blind.

"I thought it was shower gel."
That was my friend's comment when I asked her how she liked the perfume and that describes the scent very well.
The Meteore smells at first, in my opinion, like most ordinary Nivea drugstore shower gels fresh, aquatic, with some pepper spice. After a few hours, however, it then opens up some complexity, it softens and the aquatic notes fade a bit, but remain noticeably.

Positively to emphasize, is the durability. On a test strip one perceives the still after more than a week, on my skin definitely longer than a day.

All in all, a quite solid Aquat with an extreme durability, but whose price in my opinion is out of proportion
