Every beginning is hard...

...and it was no different with this LV!
Many LV could not convince me at least at the beginning, I had recognized their value only later!
This is how it was with this one, at the beginning my first thought was: "Generic! What is this?"
But after wearing it 2-3 times I have to say that it has really convinced me! I had fallen in love with the Afternoon Swim, which was always a bit too "light" for the money! Meteore is for me a kind of Afternoon Swim Intense! Minty, spicy, has also something ozone-mineral like the Afternoon Swim I can only guess here: Don't judge the smell after the first riot Wear it 2-3 times and then rate the aura! It really scores! In addition, this one also has a great H/S.

Now let's get to the worst punk: THE PRIZE!
Is it worth 225€? NO, not in my opinion! If you can get the fragrance for a lower price, it is certainly a great addition to many collections, but not to the UVP! Of course, everyone has to decide that for themselves.
What I can say: It's not what it was initially labelled for... no 0815 shower gel scent Somehow high-grade, refined minty-watery ozone. In the background a nice spice.

And even though he is definitely not for everyone, one thing he is: Unique!
I've never smelled anything like that before. Recognition value given!

Is he gonna hit like a meteor?

In my opinion, it is for a long time the first new perfume from LV, which may fully integrate into the classic men's fragrance line of LV's. I have also sniffed all and am a fan of Sur La Route, L'Immensite, Au Hasard or Orage...

Does it hit like a meteor? With me, yes, but he also calms down again and becomes very pleasant... One perceives the fresh bergamot and fine citrus peels very much and in the peppery combination he comes across very dominant at first... A certain pleasant sweetness makes everything very suitable.

The durability is enormous, with me easily 7-8 hours, which is a mega performance for a citrus fragrance. On clothes even longer... (and comes to that with my skin is always given shorter shelf life)

The silage is enormous at the beginning. In the room, you can then also clearly perceive him... and you can feel his scent aura... you can perceive him easily 3-4 hours until he becomes Hautnah.

The Flacon is simply the LV... beautiful shape, great magnetic closure and one of the best spray heads. Advantage that you can let him refill and it then becomes cheaper.

As with all fragrances, everyone must form his own opinion.
Anyway, you smell the exclusivity and the high quality of this perfume what you can expect even for the proud price.

I find no comparison with another fragrance, as others had described here, and also definitely not to shower gel. But is also so that you have to like citrus / peppery scents.

I find him perfectly suited for spring / summer / autumn

A great new fragrance composition I can only recommend, but test him out anyway better before, before you spend a proud Summer:-)

Finally, some good news from Louis Vuitton?

This time I have to be honest, because this fragrance is extremely good and also the allegory to the name fits perfectly. But I can understand the reluctance of some people, Météore is by its freshness combined with spiciness about what a man must like, I could find the same with Viking. At first I thought to myself, what is coming to me now, but after 20 minutes Météore starts to show its unique aura. Météore smells so unbelievably pure fresh and slightly spicy and never obtrusive. I also have to contradict the similarity to CK one Météore is much spicier and better in performance. I have also received many compliments for Météore. I can only say for myself The bottle will be ordered from Louis Vuitton in the next few days, because Météore really captivated me.

Rich beauty in an aquarium ?

Oh, I've been waiting for a fragrance like this for a long time. For so long I had no fragrance of the category Shower Scent/Aquat under my nose and now a perfume comes out of an unusual corner. Louis Vuitton Meteore is the name of the good one and belongs to one of the more unloved ones of the brand. Too much standard and too much money for what's on offer is complained about here and not without reason. But with the well-known LV nuance which makes certain things different than other fragrances
In general, it seems that aquatics are among the weaker representatives among the valuations. If there are no outstanding characteristics I would accept this. Rarely do aquatics really manage to break through the 8.0 mark and get stuck there. Too often they remind me of shower gel and everything you can get at the drugstore. I have to admit that my own assessments have also often followed this pattern. If I have noticed even a touch of shower gel in a fragrance, the respective scent has been stamped by me.
So far there were only two representatives that I valued a little higher, had in the collection myself and also liked to use. Once it was the reformulation of Invictus Aqua, which I personally liked very much before my perfume time. The other was Costa Azzurra or Costa Azzurra Aqua. These representatives of the Aquat category have convinced me and I remember them with pleasure.

So what is the problem with scents from this category that even a fine representative like this one is punished like this ?

On the one hand the already described problem that during the first spraying the differences are not noticeable which justify the extra charge compared to a Rasasi Hawas or Drogerieaquaten. I absolutely agree with this, but I do not do justice to the fragrance in its development.
On the other hand, it is probably the fact that the quality of these fragrances can be less filtered out than, for example, oriental or gourmand fragrances. I have to agree with this objection as well.

So why am I giving this fragrance an 8.5 ?
This is simply due to the development of this fragrance and the performance that goes with it. Because after about four hours, the fragrance starts to detach itself from the allure of the aquatics and develop in a very masculine and noble direction. Less aquat, more pepper, vetiver, nutmeg and cardamom. In addition something woody and bitter. He then sniffs very wealthy and exclusive compared to my first impression, which I have reproduced in my statement.
It is joined by an - for the fragrances category - amazing performance that I have rarely experienced. On my skin the Costa Azzurra was similar, but this one is even better. The first 2 hours the scent radiates well and you notice that you are wearing a nice and fresh scent. With a good conscience I can also give the fragrance a durability of 8 hours+, which really surprised me (at around 20 degrees). I didn't expect this at the beginning and I'm even more happy at the end.

Figuratively I imagine a man in front of me coming off the golf course in a polo shirt. He is in his mid-thirties and very successful in his profession. A man of action, who doesn't take any notice and seems a bit arrogant. After he has finished golf, he gets into his Lamgorghini convertible and drives away. Simply the expression of sporty, noble, fresh and a little bit of male arrogance.

It's just this little trick, that the fragrance goes through these development steps after hours, coupled with the durability, that makes the fragrance so attractive again in a way that you might consider to take a stab at half a bottle.

For this fragrance, I would even throw my Acqua di Gio Profumo out of the collection, because despite its shower gel start, it becomes so noble and simply looks fresher, more modern and smart.

That was my friend's comment when I asked her how she liked the perfume and that describes the scent very well.
The Meteore smells at first, in my opinion, like most ordinary Nivea drugstore shower gels fresh, aquatic, with some pepper spice. After a few hours, however, it then opens up some complexity, it softens and the aquatic notes fade a bit, but remain noticeably.

Positively to emphasize, is the durability. On a test strip one perceives the still after more than a week, on my skin definitely longer than a day.

All in all, a quite solid Aquat with an extreme durability, but whose price in my opinion is out of proportion
