During a visit on my lunch break, I strolled through the perfume shop just 200 meters away. The For Her Musc Nude caught my eye for inexplicable reasons, as the Narciso fragrances had never really appealed to me before.

A bold spray on my wrist and...hmm you are different!

Pink pepper adds a certain something at the beginning, combined with the typically powdery Narciso DNA.

To me, it has the essence of an old, very elegant powder compact, but not in a negative way. On the contrary, it is a very elegant golden powder compact. Not vintage, perhaps a reissue? The rose probably gives me this impression.

However, the powder is not superficial but almost warm and cozy thanks to the tonka bean and patchouli.

A bottle found its place with me not long after. A very nice everyday scent and, for me, actually always wearable.

Everyday Magic
The Good Fortune Elixir Intense was a chance find for me.

I had tested the predecessor, or the "lighter version," "Good Fortune | Viktor & Rolf." It's nice, but it didn't really grab me... rather nondescript.

Therefore, I was quite skeptical about the Intense version and hadn't really paid attention to it... until I looked at the fragrance notes... the little esoteric in me was awakened. Apart from the vanilla, the two witch sisters of Good Fortune have nothing in common.

Since the fragrance hadn't yet hit retail (at least not in any store in my area), I ordered it blind.

The first spray came with anticipation and fear, as the other version wasn't really my thing.

Beautiful incense hangs in the air, but not scratchy church incense. It's almost velvety and, above all, warm.
The warm feeling continues to develop throughout. Jasmine is clearly perceptible and I actually like it very much here; it gives the other notes enough space.

Towards the end, it becomes woody, and the vanilla benefits the whole composition. For me, it's a very beautiful warm and slightly seductive - but by no means smoky - fragrance.

For me, it's a very lovely scent that is definitely suitable for everyday wear, as long as you prefer something heavier.

Lira....is that you?
To answer the question right at the beginning: Sort of...

The similarity to "Casamorati - Lira (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" is there, but for me, they do differ in several aspects.

Devotion Eau de Parfum starts off much more citrusy for me, but sweet-citrusy. The candied lemon hits my nose directly. Here I already find the first difference to "Casamorati - Lira (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" because there I perceive the citrus as fresher and less sweet; here, the sweetness comes to me only later.

The top note of Devotion lasts quite long for me, about 1 to 2 hours, after which the lemon decreases significantly and makes way for the orange blossom. From here, it is still sweet, but for me personally, not as sugary as at the beginning. The vanilla is already in the air here, but it still stays in the background. Finally, the vanilla takes over, a nice warm vanilla, so I actually do not perceive it as artificial.

In contrast to Lira, the (few) notes here come to my nose much more separated. I really have more of the lemon cake association here than with Devotion.

The longevity and sillage also differ here. For me, Devotion Eau de Parfum is suitable for anyone who likes to spray it one or two more times, thus making it significantly more office-friendly, as Lira simply radiates more.

So, anyone looking for an alternative could find it here, but those expecting a copy will not be entirely happy with this.

Vanilla Crescent Cookies with Caramel and Cream
Blind buy and a total hit. "Eclaire / اكلاير | Lattafa / لطافة" immediately fills the room with a sweet vanilla and caramel. The mint that I had feared from some reviews does not come out for me at all.

Super sweet, it smells like a Christmas bakery where sweet and still warm vanilla crescent cookies are being dusted with powdered sugar. The scent of toffee and cream lingers in the air....the milk I perceive as creamy and pleasant, not bland at all.

Anyone who loves extremely sweet and creamy fragrances should definitely check this one out. Caution for those who find scents too sweet quickly, because this one is almost a sugar shock in a bottle.

The longevity is outstanding for me. Especially with such sweet vanilla pastry notes, I usually don't perceive them for long. With "Eclaire / اكلاير | Lattafa / لطافة," I could smell vanilla on and off throughout the day. Sprayed in the morning around 7 AM, I could still easily detect it on my wrist by 5 PM.

For me, the purchase was definitely worth it and for the price, really top!

Vanilla Dreams and My Probably Most Expensive Purchase at the Supermarket Discount Store
Wednesday afternoon.... Oh, is it already so late? Quickly grab something to eat! So off to the nearest discount store I trust. In a rush with summer temperatures... the store is crowded.

Suddenly... hmmm?! What is that? A scent wafts into my nose... warm vanilla... but so different from what I usually know.... almost fresh? A few minutes later, I figured out the wearer and asked her. The nice lady shows me a bottle....

What can I say? I had already ordered it while waiting at the checkout.

Upon the first spray on my skin.... was it really?.... I perceive bergamot first... and normally I absolutely do not like citrus notes... they usually give me glass cleaner vibes. But shortly after, the lavender comes out and makes it all more pleasant; the bergamot fades a bit, but is still minimally present. Together with the warm and sweet vanilla, this creates the lemon cake association described by many. There’s also caramel, but not cloying, rather in the background.

The longevity is sometimes described as not so good, but I actually cannot agree with that for myself. I can still perceive it on my skin after a long workday... slightly, but it’s still there.
