Everyday magic
The Good Fortune Elixir Intense was a chance find for me.
I had tested the predecessor or the "lighter version" Good Fortune. It's nice, but didn't pick me up like that...rather meaningless.
Accordingly, I was rather skeptical about the Intense version and hadn't really paid attention to it...until I looked at the fragrance notes...the little esoteric in me was awakened. Apart from the vanilla, the two witch sisters of Good Fortune have nothing in common.
However, as the fragrance had not yet arrived in retail stores (at least not in any stores in my area), I ordered it blind.
The first spray was full of expectation and fear, because the other version wasn't really mine.
Beautiful incense hangs in the air, but not a scratchy church incense. It is almost velvety and above all warm.
The warm feeling continues throughout the fragrance. Jasmine is clearly perceptible and I actually really like it here, it leaves enough room for the other notes.
It becomes woody towards the end, with the vanilla adding to the overall effect. For me, it's a very nice, warm and slightly seductive - but by no means smoky - fragrance.
For me, a very nice fragrance that is definitely suitable for everyday wear, as long as you like it heavier.
