Marieposa

Gift green hissing
Queens' dispute
Washing in the coconut sun
Tropical, the floral bath
At Guerlain's vanilla beach
Valkyries in grass skirts

Your quiet presence
Glows spicy golden
Between warm earth and moss
Like oranges
When we draw feathered cloves
Into the sky

I wear Yuzusonnenschein in my heart
And a peach-colored cape
On Chypre shoulders
When the creatures of the herbaceous forest
Bow their heads

Like floral champagne
I kissed the windowpane
With mauve-colored lips
As rain fell on the irises
And slipped into the leather pumps

Thanks to spray adhesive
Iris hallucinates
From the craft table
To the executive floor
With the pressed board tables
And faux leather bags
