"Giardino di Boboli" by Roberto Ugolini: A Scented Walk Through a Park

Roberto Ugolini introduces the fresh floral unisex fragrance "Giardino di Boboli", designed to capture the essence of a park in bloom.

The fragrance opens with intense green notes and spicy geranium. This is joined by a fruity apple note, which is accompanied by spicy mint. In the heart, powdery floral iris combines with rose and jasmine notes. Ozone notes give a feeling of freshness and remind of the clear air in the park. Musk, powdery notes and various woods, infused with amber, complete the composition.

"Giardino di Boboli" is the latest addition to Roberto Ugolini's "Extrait" collection, which uses particularly concentrated fragrance oils. Most recently, the fragrances "4 Rosso" and "Derby"  were launched in 2021.

The story of Roberto Ugolini, born in Florence, is marked by a deep passion for shoes. Roberto Ugolini was born in a family of shoemakers, where repairing shoes was part of the daily work of the male members of the family for several generations. Meanwhile, his mother worked in the sale of shoes.

At the age of 25, Ugolini opened his own atelier in Florence, where he designed, manufactured and distributed his own models and collections. Entering Ugolini's store, one is immersed in a world of images and fragrances: There are sample shoes on the shelves, while the scent of the finest leather and wood of the carved dimensional moldings on the walls is in the air. Ugolini entered the perfume market later, however. It wasn't until a lively conversation with Herbert Stricker, an experienced perfume distributor and avid bespoke shoe wearer, that the idea of launching a fragrance collection together was born. In 2018, the first creations finally appeared, inspired by the centuries-old traditional craft. The flacons are handmade and finished with embossed leather labels and horn closures.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
