Swiss niche luxury label Parfums d'Elmar unveils its latest collection of five unisex Extraits de Parfum: "Mahina", "Yara", "Dalika", "Amalaya" and "Kaya".
Mahina: The energy of the moon
"Mahina", inspired by the Hawaiian word for "light" or "moon", is intended to capture the mystical energy of the blood moon. Fresh, fruity notes of lemon, mandarin and blood orange form the prelude before the fragrance transitions into a floral, sweet heart of peony and jasmine sambac rounded off with warm notes of musk and soft woody accents.
Yara: Elegant leather scent
"Yara" is a new interpretation of the slightly animalistic and soft note of leather. The first spritz exudes a spicy-fresh combination of bergamot, pink pepper and saffron. In the center, a floral-sweet accord of jasminum grandiflorum, tonka bean and rose unfolds, which is supported by warm base notes of leather, amber, musk, java vetiver and cedarwood.

"Dalika", Thai for "star", opens with a gourmand top note of caramel, nuts and peach, enveloped in warm tonka bean. In the opening of "Amalaya", the woody-sweet nuances of amyris blend with fresh bergamot and spicy Ceylon cinnamon, before transitioning into a floral heart of jasmine, violet and ylang-ylang. The fragrance journey concludes with warm, creamy accents of musk and Ambrox Super, complemented by Haitian vetiver, Australian sandalwood, patchouli and moss, which lend the creation a woody, earthy dimension.
Kaya: Sensual amber fragrance
"Kaya" is a soft amber composition enveloped in tonka bean. The fragrance opens with a fruity-fresh top note of apple, raspberry and Calabrian bergamot, before a delicate, floral bouquet of jasmine sambac and white flowers unfolds. The composition is rounded off by a warm, spicy tonka bean and amber base, complemented by Ambrox Super, Indonesian patchouli, woody accents, rum and vanilla.
