A fragrance experience like no other
It was today, when I went to the perfumery unsuspectingly to get a new fragrance, which is not the subject here today, when I wanted to leave the perfumery I decided to test the new d'Elmar fragrances. I was at the d'Elmar stand and in front of me was the founder Elmar Métry,
who introduced me to the fragrances and gave me such a consultation, with such a fascination for his own creation as I have never had before and not only did the consultation convince me, but this is one of the few fragrances that I can honestly give a 10/10.

Amyris in the opening opulent and held by the bergamot, as a cherry on top the cinnamon that floats over it with a lightness, an incredible opening, powdery & slightly masculine in the opening, as if the air would carry a ball full of fragrance content and distribute it purposefully, with this one also a strong concentration & a beast as far as H/S is concerned, as I was also allowed to test it on my skin.

A floral powdery hint, which lingers on the skin powdery & soapy, yet pleasantly floral, it develops into a creaminess with a sandalwood undertone, over which a powder floats away throughout the fragrance, a slight masculinity in my opinion underlines it, even if I would also see it on a woman, this fragrance underlines a self-confident appearance and simply a signature
A kind of better Reflection Man and to get that right... i didn't think that would be possible.
In contrast to Reflection, this one is not spicy, it seems cleaner and more organized, a precisely tuned fragrance development and I see parallels, it has a similar nature, but is quite different.

Noble and high-quality as well as beautiful, just like the bottles.

A clear recommendation to test the fragrances, a brand full of incredibly good fragrances and this one is a must buy for me.

Creaminess in perfection
Huiii what Elmar has conjured up here again! A real creamy dream.
It starts for me with a fine almondy vanilla note, which also gives me an association with tonka bean, which is not listed here. Bit by bit, the flowers spread. Jasmine and violet give the fragrance a fine clean touch while ylang ylang gives me a fine summery touch. Still super creamy and not too dense.
Sandalwood envelops the flowers and brings this fine woodiness and also this creaminess that the fragrance has throughout.
Ambrox ensures that the fragrance does not become too dense and gives it a certain lightness.
Patchouli and vetiver give it depth. Vetiver adds a woody and slightly dry component. Patchouli is delicately earthy, but not at all overpowering. I am very sensitive to patchouli, but it is not at all irritating here For me, the fragrance smells like a strong elf. Fairy-like but still strong as the fragrance is.
Longevity is outstanding and despite the extrait, the sillage really surprised me here, I could smell the fragrance all day long from time to time.

Is the bottle the fragrance...?
How now? Does the bottle smell? No, of course not, but if I had to describe the fragrance in a nutshell, I would say: look at the bottle and you'll know what to expect. Or perhaps more understandably, the other way round: spray on the fragrance and then look at the bottle. You smell white-cream-gold. For me, the fragrance reflects the color scheme of the bottle exactly.

A creamy-powdery fragrance with floral notes wets the skin in the opening, with a hint of cinnamon and sandalwood. This composition has a sophisticated, striking effect (without being overpowering). Amalaya has a light and certain masculine tendency, which always remains subtle due to the creamy-powdery overall appearance (I would by no means specify the fragrance as a men's fragrance).

All in all, Amalaya is a fragrance that is wonderfully suitable for occasions due to its high quality. You are present, you are interesting, you want to smell "him" without being the center of attention (on the occasion). "THE" statement is made, in a subtle and very positive way.

Is the bottle the fragrance...? Yes! You go to a nice event that you've been looking forward to for weeks or even months, about which you have the highest expectations, look at the bottle and you know....... THIS FITS!

A powdery floral enchantment with depth and a better alternative to Reflection Man
Today I was able to test the Amalaya and must admit; a real alternative candidate to the Reflection Man. After the Mahina had already positively surprised me, Amalaya effectively goes one better.

But now to the fragrance itself:
- At the beginning, the bergamot creates a beautifully uplifting mood, while at the same time the scent creates a warm depth. However, this opening is quickly overtaken by the white floral magic; ylang-ylang, jasmine and violet form a truly lush, creamy floral world that is both intense and gentle in equal measure; truly impressive. A seductive quality and definitely suitable for men too, even if you wouldn't expect it. The floral notes are all very well blended without anything standing out individually and/or detracting from the overall picture.

- The fragrance then moves into a beautiful warm earthy base of patchouli, moss and sandalwood. The vetiver and ambroxan are also very perceptible and give the whole thing a nice dynamic kick. The amyris note - even though it is actually in the top note - now comes into its own again together with the sandalwood; this creamy base is really great.

- The H/S is definitely above average and more than you can expect from such a DNA. Great companion for everyday wear in my opinion.

Well overall the Amalaya is a really nice, light floral-creamy and powdery fragrance. It definitely brings up Reflection Man vibes, but I find the Amalaya much more exciting because it is more complex.

"Floral elegance with endless durability" - Not for everyone
Amalaya is without question a high-quality fragrance with impressive longevity - even after two days, it still lingers on the skin. The sillage is also enormous, you definitely leave a scent trail behind.

The fragrance itself is creamy, elegant and very floral. Immediately after spraying it on, it is soft and slightly spicy, with a pleasant freshness. But after a short time, the floral notes take over - jasmine, ylang-ylang and violet come into their own. Almost a little too feminine for me personally, but that's a matter of taste.

The base of sandalwood, patchouli and musk provides a warm, slightly earthy depth that makes the fragrance appear very sophisticated. I've heard that a meteor stone is included in the composition to extend its longevity - I can't say for sure whether this is true, but the fragrance definitely lasts longer than average.

Conclusion: Amalaya is a very luxurious, floral fragrance with outstanding performance. If you like floral, creamy fragrances, you'll love it - personally, it's a tad too feminine for me.

Smooth, creamy floral notes with a touch of sweetness on top of it. Holds for a long time and sillage is also there. One of my top favs!

May be just my skin. There's almost nothing around G2 here but has some Reflection vibes. Scent doesn't evolve much but it's pretty ok.
