At the beginning of my fragrance journey, when I was researching different fragrances here, I came across Naxos by Xerjoff - number 1 on the best list.

I spontaneously went to a niche perfumery in Hamburg for the first time and sprayed on the fragrance for the first time and what can I say? I had to have it.

The first time I smelled the fragrance on my skin, I got goosebumps because I had never smelled anything like it before. The combination of the sweet honey paired with the tobacco completely flashed me. I therefore also give the fragrance a 10 because I have not yet been able to repeat this experience with another fragrance.

For me, the fragrance is also an all-rounder - only in midsummer I would rather do without it. Durability and sillage are great! You really get value for money here!

When I'm on vacation, you can find me in one perfumery or another, where I always like to test fragrances. As a fan of the 1861 range from Xerjoff, I had to try Zefiro alongside Naxos and Renaissance (both of which I really like). In Palma on Mallorca, the time had come for me to try it out for the first time and I have to say: what a statement fragrance.

When I first sprayed it on, I found the scent too much on my skin at first and my wife was anything but enthusiastic - it had something musty about it at first and I didn't really see the scent on me either - I have to say that it was my first test with an incense fragrance.

We strolled on through the day and the scent lingered in our nostrils the whole time. The sillage of the fragrance is pleasant, but not overwhelming.

One phenomenon for me was actually the longevity. The weather was really warm that day (25 degrees) and we were still driving in the open-top convertible, I had a shower in the evening and I could still smell the fragrance. I kept sniffing my arm in bed in the evening and I finally liked it because it was much more subtle.

Highly rated, but I'm still not adding the fragrance to my collection - why?

I can well imagine that the fragrance suits older men in suits very well and is also a real statement, but unfortunately the fragrance doesn't suit me - maybe I'm just not a fan of incense.

For me, the fragrance is, as the title suggests, an odyssey to the sea paired with a great honey note. I was absolutely thrilled the first time I tried it and knew I had to get a bottle.

The fragrance has very good longevity and easily lasts for 8 hours. Its sillage is in the upper mid-range - it is very pleasantly perceived by those around you and does not offend. The bottle is an absolute 10 and is second to none. For me, it is also signature-worthy - I find the price high, but still justified. If you keep an eye out for discounts, you can occasionally find it for less than €200 per 100ml, which is a really good price for a truly outstanding fragrance!

I can highly recommend this fragrance if you are looking for a fragrance for all seasons - it is particularly good in summer, but I would go for another fragrance if the temperature is above 25 degrees.

The Wulong Cha was one of the few successful blind buys I have made. For me, the fragrance has something calming and the tea note comes through unmistakably after the initial citrus. When sprayed on, the fragrance is very explosive and also challenging, not because it smells bad but because it is simply so incredibly intense and room-filling.

For me, this fragrance is more like a wellness vacation in Bali than a party fragrance in Mallorca. It has a great exclusive freshness, which I have rarely smelled in a fragrance like this and it immediately makes you feel good - it also has something of a room fragrance.

For me, the fragrance is actually perfectly unisex and has no gender bias.

For my part, I can highly recommend the fragrances from Nishane. In addition to the Wulong Cha, I also find the Ani or the Colognise outstandingly good, but both go in a different direction.

With Prada L'Homme, you get an office fragrance that doesn't attract attention, goes down well and has a fresh wash vibe. For me, it's rather boring and unfortunately I can't quite understand the hype, which is why I gave it away. I found the longevity to be good, but the sillage is relatively weak (which makes it a good fit for the office).

I don't see any age restrictions - it can be worn well by young and old and also by women.

Personally, I can't quite understand the good reviews for this fragrance. I have tested it again and again, but unfortunately we just don't become friends.
