Ivory Route - Xerjoff
I have been impressed with just about everything I have tried from the house of Xerjoff so far, please watch this review if you want to know whether Ivory Route was an exception.

Great sweety oriental scent
Powerful spices with vanilla tones, sandalwood and I would say even some kind of boozyness.
Could be an Amouage scent but easier to smell for bigger audience.
Very good but nothing too impressive in a niche and high priced (so much it is) context.
I have to say that silage is so weak point, a decent lasting…but with your nose just over the skin.

Best of all JTC scents
Ivory route was my first purchase from Xerjoff. and so far is my only repurchase from them as well.

Ivory Route is a masterpiece scent with substantial amount of spices running through it’s veins. I get very little basil in the opening. I don’t think I miss it here at all. To my nose it is more about the spicy mix of sandalwood, vanilla, ambers, slight hint of incense hiding behind the curtains and exotic spice bazaar at the centre of the stage. It is an intoxicating blend with quite heavy sillage.

So cozy!
Unlit sweet tobacco, honey, spices, vanilla.. That´s what I get first sniffs and I adore it. Full dry down lasts pretty long on my skin, could still smell it next day after tossing and turning in bed. Ultimate dry down really reminds me of vanilla ice cream milkshake with plum juice... yum.

Very unisex in my opinion.

Woody-spicy oriental
This perfume was recommended to me when I was researching scents that evoke desert vibes.

On the initial spray, it opens surprisingly bright, juicy, and slightly sweet, but that sweetness fades quickly, within the first 30–60 seconds. What’s left behind are dry, dusty meat spices: cumin, clove, coriander, pepper. It’s still warm, like the feeling of earth after a scorching day.

For an oriental scent, it’s soft and restrained. It sits close to the skin - dry, leathery woods dusted with spice that whisper rather than scream.

When I smell it, I’m transported to Moroccan markets, but not in the sweltering midday heat. It’s late evening, the stalls are empty, and only the lingering scent of merchandise, spices, and scorched stone remains in the air.

Warm spices (cumin heavy) with creamy sandalwood & tonka/vanilla in the background. Sweeter as it develops. Nice but Amouage does it better

Beautiful spicy sweet resinous Oriental, at once rugged and refined. One of my favorites from the collection for sure.

Woody, warm spicy, sweet + resinous. Vanilla makes it smooth and cozy. Gets sweeter in the dry down Nothing unique but easy to like. Unisex.

Beautiful spicy oriental scent. Smoky vanilla in the base and smells a bit like creamy incense then.
Sillage and longevity moderate.

Heavier version of Dolce Amalfi. Still bright and fresh but with bolder exceptionally performing base. Feminine leaning sweet spices.

Oriental spicy gourmand but not sweet.
Just a bit boozy too.

Very close to Nishane Ani - a bit woodier, vanilla toned down a smidge. Overall warm, cosy and alluring - however other than expected

A well done sweetness and spices
Once it hits the drydown it smells amazing
Not an 10/10, but a very easy to wear fall scent for sure.
