Spicy, sweet... simply beautiful
I was looking for the perfect vanilla fragrance for everyday use. Actually, "Vanitas | Profumum Roma" was at the top of my shopping list. But since it would be a bit potent for everyday use....
However, I and my partner had ended up in a small perfumery in Berlin and I thought I would ask what was recommended to me here.
The requirements were as follows:
Vanilla should be distinctly smellable
Long lasting
Suitable for everyday use
Not overly sweet and sugary
The gentleman handed me a few fragrances. Vanhera was the first and I stuck with it despite further testing.
At the beginning, the fragrance is spicy, peppery and not at all vanilla-like. After a few minutes on the skin, it becomes softer and softer until after about 1/2-1h the vanilla really takes off. It is soft, it is creamy. It feels like a cashmere sweater.
The fragrance develops further and further throughout the day. From a spicy blend to a true vanilla wonder with a woody undertone.
For me, this is actually the most suitable vanilla fragrance for everyday use. And not only wearable in fall and winter like others of its kind. I wear it again and again, especially in spring, and it will certainly be my companion on cool summer days.

Tart freshness
"Eau de Minthé | Diptyque" is something special, at least in my collection. It is different from the others. And yet that's exactly what I like!
What does it smell like?
Eau de Minthé opens tart, masculine and fresh.
Not a biting mint that will take my breath away, but fresh enough for it to show itself. Patchouly rounds off the freshness, later shifting it in a softer direction. The floral notes are not immediately noticeable, yet they gently support the overall impression.
This fragrance is not offensive, it is simply there. Perceptible but not overpowering.
It may seem rather masculine, but it was the more tart fragrance in my collection that I needed.
After 8 hours it is unfortunately no longer perceptible but the time I spent with it was wonderful.
It is radiant for about 4 hours, after which it gradually fades away.
Nevertheless, a well-done bitter freshie

My dearest freshie
Fresh fragrances have a hard time... Durability and sillage usually suffer from the lemony notes, the line between WC-fresh and brilliant summer freshie is thin and and and and...

With Mefisto, we have a freshie that is a little weaker in terms of longevity than many other fragrances from the same company, but that doesn't make it any worse.
Its finish is simply pleasant.
The lemons and grapefruits in the opening give a nice summery freshness, the lavender makes it pleasant without being intrusive.
Later, it becomes softer thanks to roses, musk and amber. The woody notes round it off perfectly.
They are also the ones you can still perceive up close at the end of the day ;)
The freshness is comparable to a delicious sour lemonade with ice, it is so pleasantly enveloping that I also like to wear it for sports and on particularly hot summer days
Mefisto is not annoying, and if I want to let the freshness kick in again after 3 hours, I like to spray it on. Otherwise I let it fade away gently.
Clear unisex recommendation!

Dark chocolate to go
One of the few fragrances that make it hard for me to write a concrete review is "Sound of a Ricochet | Floraïku". For me, he is so much, and yet only one thing.
Spraying it on already starts with a decent amount of patchouli: dark, sensual and mysterious. The warmth of patchouli is accompanied by vanilla and tonka bean at the same time. They give at this point a small ray of hope in the dark, like the candles that flicker gently from autumn on my sofa table.
A light sweetness sets in, which is by no means sugary. Rather, a beautiful plain chocolate bar, which slowly melts on the tongue. The sandalwood joins gently in the structure while anise gives me the last kick. Like a little tickle in the belly. Anise makes the difference for me.
I like the way the scent emanates. He is there, he is also perceived. But he does not burst the rahmen. He does not enter the room in front of you. If he then becomes close to the skin at the end of the day, the vanilla with patchouli in the mix comes once again very gently around the corner.
Who is looking for a patchouli fragrance with even more Wumms should look at "Patchouly | Profumum Roma", which is for me the stronger number.
An absolute plus for me is the bottle. Floraiku delivers with each 50ml bottle a 10ml travel bottle. The large decorative "lid" can then be converted into a case for just that. And that is really great in the hand.
