Spring in a Bottle
Spring is so beloved by many people because there is a feeling of lightness in the air.
The flowers begin to bloom, the birds chirp, the leaves sprout, and the sun sends out its first warming rays.
The transition from cold to warm, from gray to colorful brings good cheer. With every fiber, spring signals departure and new beginnings.

This feeling of spring captured in a fragrance... that would be something nice... oh, it exists: Giardino di Boboli.

For me, there is hardly a perfume that reflects this season as beautifully as this one.
If you were to ask me "what is a 'green' scent?" then this would be the answer.

My friend recently said after I sprayed the fragrance: You smell like the meadow in the garden.
To the point. Green, fresh, light - without becoming too floral.

The longevity really blew me away. Despite the freshness and lightness, Boboli lasts as if there were no tomorrow.
Still so strongly noticeable on my work clothes the next day that I didn’t even need to reapply. On the skin, it is also perceptible for hours without losing power.
Top value for money and for me, THE spring fragrance par excellence.

Ice cold, crystal clear and absolutely pure…
… this well-known TV commercial comes to mind with this fragrance.

During my last purchase of an Andreoli fragrance, I received a handful of samples.. overall, I find this perfume house simply outstanding. The price/quality ratio is great and I have liked (almost) all the fragrances so far.
The same goes for the samples.. however, the Silver Marble stood out to me the most.. a super clean, almost icy freshness was in my nose.
Shower gel character? Yes.
Overall, is it a very simply constructed fragrance? Yes..

Nevertheless, it has something unique.. alongside the freshness, slightly citrusy and especially in the later stages, woody notes shape the character of the fragrance. A scent that doesn’t clash and fits perfectly into everyday life.
A fresh daily fragrance for spring and summer, for which I have already received a compliment or two.

The longevity is also above average. I am therefore cautious with the dosage, as the noticeable synthetics can quickly become too much and "bite" in the nose.

Tulum Junglescape
When this fragrance was announced some time ago, I was busy planning my vacation.. Destination: Mexico
What a nice coincidence that such a fragrance is being released right now, I thought. So I pre-ordered it immediately, and it arrived just before my trip.

Now I’m lying here on the beach of the Yucatan Peninsula, the sun is blazing, and the scent trail of Tulum Junglescape is in my nose.. I couldn't imagine a more authentic scenario for this review.
Now, onto the fragrance:
Tulum Junglescape opens with a super fruity burst. An exotic fruit mix.. Not a fruit basket like Kirke or Erba Pura. Much less sweet, as green notes immediately join in.
As if I were in the jungle, the midday sun is blazing, the humidity is almost unbearable, then I pick a fruit and take a bite.
All in all, a very successful, fresh fruity fragrance that lives up to its name with its green and woody accents. Perfectly unisex.

The longevity is completely fine, not a performance beast, but enough to be present for several hours.
Unless you jump into the Caribbean Sea. That’s what I’m going to do now.
Hasta luego:)

Saubermann in Perfektion
Looking at the fragrances from PdM, one almost gets the feeling that there are two "camps"… the ones that are so highly regarded that really EVERYONE knows these scents - at least by name - Layton, Herod, Pegasus, Althair… and then there are those fragrances from the house that fly under the radar… who really talks about Darley… or even Galloway… and that is completely unjustified.
What do I associate with Galloway… clean, fresh, tidy. The color of the bottle reflects this.
It opens citrusy, but you immediately get a full dose of pepper as well. The citrus note fades relatively quickly, while the pepper remains.
A scent made for everyday wear, perfect for work and when you just want something "fresh"… in the drydown - at least on paper - it goes very strongly in the direction of Gentle Fluidity (Silver).
For me, an underdog from the house of PdM that is far too underrated.

The Eternal No. 1
Since I started exploring Parfumo and dedicating myself to the passion for fragrances, "Naxos | XerJoff" has held the top spot among unisex perfumes. Rightfully so? Yes!

Even though "hyped" fragrances should generally be approached with caution, Naxos truly deserves its popularity.
Whether this hype originated from some German-speaking rappers or TikTok is irrelevant to me - in the end, what matters is the scent and what it does for its wearer.

Naxos is and remains an impressive perfume that immediately catches the eye with its unique composition. The notes are a harmonious blend of fresh, spicy, and sweet elements that together create an unforgettable olfactory experience.

Lavender, tobacco, honey, vanilla... a rather heavy scent that is versatile despite its weight. Whether on a date, during Sunday coffee with the in-laws, or while strolling through the city, Naxos simply works every time... a versatile weapon for the autumn days. Outside of the cooler seasons, I personally wear it hardly at all - at most on cooler summer evenings, as it is already quite potent and can lead to overkill on warm days.

Naxos is a masterfully composed perfume that is suitable for both men and women. It exudes confidence and style and lingers on the skin for a long time without being intrusive (except in summer). Anyone looking for a unique and versatile scent should definitely try Naxos - it is an olfactory experience...
