Tutti Frutti in a bottle
It's coming soon, the bottling of
Pacific Chill.
Excited, I open the letterbox, sit down at the table and unwrap the white envelope.
Bottle in hand and off I go!
"Oh my... that smells like.... like edible paper, just like "Tutti Frutti" tastes... Interesting."
The first summer day dawns, 23 degrees on the cell phone thermometer,
Pacific Chill comes into play!
I immediately feel that childhood memory again, the peach/apricot spreads, the countless other fruit notes give me the feeling of standing at a juice bar or fruit bar and fighting my way to the buffet between the dozens of package holidaymakers
Even the fruit flies were keen to get at my neck....
Then the moment of truth, the partner comes closer and smells a scent, what will she say?
"Wow... why do you smell so good??? Is it new?"
Zack, test passed.
Next step: how expensive is the large bottle?.... 280€?!
For a brief moment, I just thought "you're out of your mind"
In bed in the evening I pondered, well, it's really nice... the wife likes it too... Oh damn! *katsching ordered, bad conscience included*
You read about durability problems all the time and I can't confirm them.
it lasts 6 - 7 hours on me, and at high temperatures and the associated higher skin temperature, it also radiates freshly enough.
What do you expect from a fresh fragrance? Exactly, refreshment.
I don't think fruity notes are the long-lasting bombs either, but there are others such as vanilla or cardamom.
The freshly cut peach doesn't give off a mega cloud either,
the punched nutmeg, on the other hand, clearly fills the whole kitchen.
So Louis Vuitton has done it;
managed to take the money out of my pocket and make me happy with an incredible summer favorite.
Would I buy it again?
After pondering in bed in the evening, definitely. Damn!
Is the price too high? Absolutely!
Is the fragrance well received (in my circle)? Definitely, too good to leave out.
LG :-)

Desire for the "sea"..
The sun is shining, my feet are lapped by the warm Atlantic surf, the dripping sunscreen makes my eyes sting a little... I can see myself lying on the balcony as the scent unfolds its power.
"40 Knots | XerJoff" is a woody, dreamy fragrance, ideal for summer or spring. Any occasion can be an occasion to take the elegant glass bottle out of its leather box.
I love it... and so do those around me (thank goodness). On my next visit to the beach, it will certainly be the "daily" for any situation.
The fragrance has a simple effect and is a well-rounded package despite its strong woody character plus a certain sweetness. It is sure to offend somewhere, but most people will take the summer vibes with them (even those who don't know the story behind it).
Want to get a quick overview of the woodiness before you buy? Simple: go to your nearest Rossmann and try the "BarberClub Shower Gel" from L'oréal. The fragrance character is quite similar on the skin.
In other words, anyone who likes the shower gel will also like "40 Knots | XerJoff".
Conclusion:
50 ml? Too little.... I will need more

We tried but it was not meant to be
"Accento | XerJoff" ; pineapple, jasmine, iris, patchouli, musk, amber ; a list that invites you to dream.
Blindbuy this time, nothing can go wrong.
The purple velvet bottle slipped through my fingertips and the euphoria of a good summertime immediately flooded in.
First spray on a handkerchief and the huge tension was not only relieved but downright disappointed.
This is supposed to be one of the hype fragrances of the XerJoff world? "Well" I thought and was curious to see how the development with the skin would affect its head/heart/base notes.
As I have learned with niche fragrances and many have known for a long time, you can't rely on a cloth/cardboard test.
Unfortunately, today's extensive use was to be my last.
The penetrating, pungent fragrance and the musty, light fruity undertone made the car journey to the office a bit of a pain.
I felt incredibly insecure when wearing it. This fragrance is too reminiscent of an older flower arrangement with slightly damp floral foam plus rusty wire fastening (try it out at the florist).
I skeptically questioned my opinion, which led me to openly address my colleagues. "How do I smell?" was the question in the room and the reaction gave me some hope:
"Different", "musty", "new perfume? Smells quite nice" were some examples.
Anyone who puts aside the flower of politeness recognizes the try not to tell me to my face that I should leave the stuff at home.
Unfortunately, this impression has remained unchanged for me so far. A few sniffs later, I associate this fragrance with a considerable financial loss and a broken bridal bouquet with old flowers from a bad florist.
I would have liked to have enjoyed this fragrance so much more and of course I hope it's just me. Maybe my skin can't handle this floral note.
I almost apologize to all "Accento | XerJoff" lovers, but I can't understand you in the slightest.
The art behind this fragrance continues to earn my respect, but would get a deserved failing grade on the final exam.

Spring fever
Temperatures are rising, flowers are starting to grow, emotions are slowly turning from winter depression to joyful revelry.
This is where this fragrance finds its most powerful rendition.
The floral notes blend elegantly with the light morning dew and the sleepy everyday life of the rising rays of the foggy sun.
The big brother
L'Homme always runs through the fragrance and supports the lively lightness of
L'Homme L'Eau without blurring its own impression.
As a blind description of the fragrance, I would use the combination of fresh laundry and traditional hotel bar soap to give
L'Homme L'Eau a name.
Simply beautiful.
For me, the ideal fragrance when I don't want to draw a lot of attention to myself and the location requires concentration (office/appointments/conversations etc.).
A relaxed garden/balcony day is also an ideal application area.
The fragrance is anything but bold but very calming in its atmosphere.
I am convinced that my 100ml will not gather dust
and will soon need a refill.
Anyone who is out and about here will understand that this is not a matter of course.

"Ocean"... or rather shower?
Jake Gyllenhaal is the advertising face behind this fragrance, suggesting freedom at sea and the sheer force of the ocean. The sailboat whips in the wind and despite the rough waves of our wild sea.
Does this fragrance also convey that feeling?
Partly.
The aquatic character clearly tells you where the journey is going.
However, I don't feel a real sea breeze. Rather, it is a shower gel-like masculine freshness that envelops the fragrance.
Exactly what you would expect as a daily showerer in summer.
The durability is absolutely fine and is about 6-9 hours.
It can also deliver in the office and gets positive feedback.
The fragrance is probably suitable for all ages.
The performance can be convincing in any activity, but should be limited to leisure activities as it is quite strong close to the skin.
The versatile facets are a little lacking. I find the fragrance almost straightforward and consistent (not meant negatively). It is not very playful and supports everyday shower care.
All in all: fresh, shower gel-like, masculine, clean
