Maîtresse en Titre
I personally am not a fan of this perfume - and yet this scent evokes so many images in my mind that I feel compelled to write a review about it.
I can say upfront that probably most people who love those typical Nivea scents will tend to like this one as well.
In fact, rarely has a name been chosen so aptly as Boudoir Belle - one immediately gets the feeling in the opening that one is the invisible witness in a pompous Baroque bedroom of the Palace of Versailles. Surrounded by countless ruffles of brocade and lace, one immediately perceives the scent of antique soap, powdered wigs, and bare skin. One could really imagine that just a few minutes ago, the Sun King himself left the room after attending to the voluminous bed of his Maîtresse.
Boudoir Belle is comparable to a professional mistress - you get exactly what you pay for. This scent is a reliable companion that does not disappoint in terms of the promise on the packaging.
The often-mentioned similarity to Teint de Neige is present and clearly noticeable, however, I would not call Boudoir Belle a dupe - this scent is significantly more present and unfortunately also more overpowering than Teint de Neige. The longevity and sillage are, however, above average.

Love or Hate
I would argue that most people who smell Pure Musc for the first time have an immediate first impression - either you love it, or you hate it. However, this impression doesn't have to be permanent, as my example clearly shows.
When I first smelled Pure Musc, I spontaneously thought, "Oh my God, how sweet and kitschy it is." - But then the scent immediately reminded me of something from my childhood. Even though I still can't say exactly what it is, thoughts of pastel-colored children's makeup, glittery unicorn castles, and Barbie hair flashed through my mind. In my case, this is usually a sign that I will like a perfume, regardless of the initial impression. At first, I was also a bit hesitant about the final verdict, as the fresh clean sweetness can indeed be quite confusing at first. But in this case, Pure Musc eventually found a place in my collection.
Pure Musc is certainly not a scent that everyone will like - many people find it extremely sweet and overpowering. However, since it projects quite subtly on the skin or clothing, the scent is not only very wearable (basically almost for any occasion), but also a good layering candidate.
Conclusion: Despite its moderate sillage, Pure Musc is a scent whose smell is very unique and memorable, and it definitely has the potential to become a classic. Whether you like musk scents or not, Pure Musc is something you should at least smell once.

Old Swede ...
Tastes are known to differ - this scent forced me to fling the window wide open within seconds! And I mean that literally. If I had this fragrance on my skin, I would want to shower - three times in a row!
Those who appreciate old classics like ancient lavender or the vintage scents from Chanel and Dior will probably celebrate it - for my part, I have rarely smelled anything more horrifying. The perfume immediately stings in the throat, the scratchiness lingers - "unfortunately," the scent spreads and lasts very well.
Personally, the fragrance reminds me of unpleasant odors like mothballs or carpet cleaner. With a very old leather couch and withered roses in the room.
Sorry, but this isn't going to work for us!

Desert Night
First of all, I must mention: I hardly know a fragrance that is as unisex yet unique and special as this one!
I know that other scents from this brand are more hyped, but this one has particularly captivated me!
In the opening, the fragrance has a somewhat "Christmassy" quality - I smell a fruity sugar-cinnamon blend. For this reason, I believe Ambre Khandjar is also excellent as a cozy sofa-snuggling scent.
As it develops, it evokes the feeling of a cool desert night - a beautiful Arabian princess sits in front of her tent by the campfire to warm herself. The night is not too cold, but clear and starry. In the distance, you can faintly hear the princess's guards talking to each other. The lanterns in the tent and the open fire cast a pleasantly warm, amber glow over the scene. The smoky haze of the burnt wood catches in the fruity-spicy scented hair of the princess - the dreamy fragrance wraps gently around her shoulders like a warm, oriental veil. Silence, inner calm, and peace settle in, and the princess glides into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Subtly Animalistic
For me, it was love at first sniff - I sprayed the sample once, and it was immediately clear that I needed a full bottle!
I must say that I have never encountered a molecule fragrance that is so complex right from the start. With more than one spray, I recommend applying the scent to the back of the body - the initial presence of the vetiver note can otherwise be a bit overwhelming.
The citrus from the top note actually accompanies me throughout the entire wear - meaning as long as the fragrance is present, there is also some citrus. Not at full strength, but rather like the scent of a half-drunk lemon soda.
The vetiver note, on the other hand, fades quite quickly, which I would consider a positive aspect in this case - because it makes way for an incredibly beautiful synthetic base note, which is really rare! One should like ambroxan; otherwise, the fragrance probably won't appeal to you. In combination with the zibeton, it creates a beautiful, slightly animalistic blend that is very long-lasting, featuring a softly creamy sandalwood note with a green-citrus veil.
My conclusion: Everyone should try this fragrance - but not everyone will like it. However, if you do like it, then it’s probably forever!
