Too low under the radar!!!
Since I came into contact with MAD Pafumeur from Turkey through a dear Souk partner here in the forum, of course with Forza first and foremost, I also, fortunately I must say, came into contact with this great fragrance in the form of a bottling.

What can I say: A great perfume for spring/summer/perhaps also Daily Driver, which also lasts really well. That's the very first thing!!!

But what do you get here fragrance-wise: I find the top note VERY fruity. I can clearly smell a peach here. It's not stirred up here in the pyramid, but I can really detect it. Sandalwood, musk and an incredibly beautiful tea note are added. That's it. Good things don't always have to be complicated. I can't quite understand the tendency towards the aquatic. But see for yourself.

As far as the fragrance notes are concerned, it all sounds quite feminine at first, doesn't it?) I would say unisex wearable: Yes! But with a masculine tendency. I clearly see it more on a man.

For me, this perfume is a total discovery and an absolute insider tip for the warm season. Especially if you don't want to smell like everybody.

Clear recommendation to buy!!!

The only disadvantage: simply not distributed in Germany :-(

Perhaps the best winter fragrance?
First things first. As this fragrance is often associated with Xerjoff Naxos. In my opinion, the two fragrances have perhaps 1 µ in common and that's it. Why do I say that? Well, because I personally tested it before I knew Naxos. You know what I mean. Hype and all that :D
But is that a bad thing? What can we expect here fragrance-wise?

The opening starts really very slightly fresh and citrusy. But really just a hint. What it then does is simply tell everyone what the hell is going on. A warm, cozy, fruity, slightly vanilla-like sweetness is quickly added. Many write cherry here. I have to say yes and no here. It is not 100% definable for my sense of smell. Then this "earthy" pleasant tobacco quickly joins in and forms the base note of this wonderful fragrance. I imagine I can also detect a hint of cinnamon somewhere. But please do not overinterpret this.
As far as longevity and sillage are concerned, there is nothing to worry about. You are nicely enveloped for 8-9 hours. The first 2-3 hours are its peak phase. It really projects enormously. Your surroundings are aware of you. After that, it recedes a little, becomes more shy but is still there for a long time and envelops you :-)
Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the bottle as I only have a 5 ml bottle. Kindly provided by the super-friendly Souk-Dou Sörensen :-)

Short description: If someone were to ask me how I would describe this fragrance in a nutshell, I would describe it as follows: Moist fresh fragrant high quality Christmas fruit tobacco.

Now a brief digression on Naxos. In the meantime, I have of course tested said Naxos. I can understand the comparison somewhere. Well, in the opening and the "tobacco bed" on which both lie. The process and structure is similar at the beginning. In my opinion, however, Ambre Tabac then goes its own way. That's a good thing because I'm not the biggest Naxos fan anyway. This is probably the second time I've fallen into the hype trap after Ombre Nomade. Don't get me wrong. Both are not bad. But well ... let's leave that for now ...

Conclusion: Do you like really pleasantly sweet tobacco gourmands? I would almost go so far as to say: Blindbuy worthy. I can say with all seriousness that this is one of the most beautiful, if not THE most beautiful winter fragrance I have ever smelled. It really blows me away time and time again.

It's not easy to get but if the prices on the net are right > 50 ml for around 80-90 € then go for it immediately. My order will definitely be coming soon :D

Cheers and a Merry Christmas to all ️

The other day at Breuninger
I have to admit, I've only been involved with niche perfumes for just under a year now. But my curiosity and passion for everything new and what simply smells particularly good is all the greater.

And so, a few weeks ago, we went on a family trip to Karlsruhe. As we strolled past Breuninger, I remembered: Stiiiimmt, they also have a more upmarket range. At least that's what one or two perfumers wrote here.

So we entered the store and my wife looked at me seriously :D I have to say that we are not the type of "people" or the classic Brenuninger clientele who come here to shop. I hope I'm not offending anyone, but we're just normal "average consumers". Let's call it that.

When I arrived in the perfume department, I was completely flabbergasted. I felt like a little kid in a candy store. My pulse was racing. I say all these niche brands that I only knew from bottlings or YouTube videos live and in color. I cautiously approached one of the sales assistants and politely asked if I could test the Initio fragrances. He was totally relaxed and said of course I would love to. So I tested my way through and, to be honest, I liked the Paragaon best. Nice fresh opening. This light, creative, balsamic note and then this incredibly creamy plum. I also imagine I can smell a hint of cinnamon. Incredibly seductive too. Simply magnificent. Then there was just the matter of the price. Since the beginning of my "perfume addiction", I have set myself a clear limit of no more than €150 per bottle. And I'm sticking to that. And I didn't let myself be tempted on this day either.

Somehow, however, I couldn't get the fragrance out of my head and so I searched and searched for at least one alternative in the evening at the end of our trip. In vain!

A few days ago, the good Scent Jay uploaded a video on YouTube. My first thought was, "Old dad, that bottle is ugly" :D What's with the weird radio on it? But as the saying goes: Don't judge a book by it's cover. I took a look at it. Aha! So it's supposed to smell like the Paragon? My attention was only focused on the video. I think I watched it twice in a row :D But since my experience with Lataffa is such a thing and I want to do something piano at the moment in terms of collecting bottles (it's really expensive), I only ordered a small 20 ml mini bottle.

Unpacked the thing and realized, wow cool standard glass bottle and not grotesquely ugly. The 20 ml, mind you. Then sprayed it on and floated on cloud nine. I looked at my wife and just grinned. She looked at me and said, is that the dupe from Breuninger? And how! Oh, it smells delicious, she added. I have to say, my wife has exactly one signature fragrance that she rocks and that's enough for her. I really envy her for that. I tend to annoy her with my fragrances :D

Now to the fragrance. I have to say, very well hit but there are minimal deviations. To me, the Lataffa is a touch sweeter and therefore slightly more feminine. In my opinion, it is still just in the unisex segment, but for someone who now prefers more masculine fragrances, this one may come across as too feminine. Otherwise, you really have a very similar progression to Paragon here. The slightly citrusy opening of bergamot? this incredibly great plum. Wonderfully seductive creaminess. It doesn't have the depth that Paragon has, but for the price it's still an absolute steal!
One last thing: I don't know why, but the scent (especially on drydown) gives me a winter version of Malibu Party in the Bay. That creamy, fruity finish. I wore Malibu a lot this summer and somehow it reminded me of it (apart from the coconut note).

At the end of the day, of course, it has my recommendation to buy :-)

If you are unsure, just buy the 20 ml version. Addiction factor level over 9000 the part.

Fortunately I found you
A few months ago I came across this great fragrance more or less by chance at a Parfumo here in the Souk. Descriptions here in the forum such as: "I've never smelled something like this" or "Very independent" have then made me sit up and take notice quite angefixed. Come, nehmenste only a 2 ml sample and just look what happens.

When the fragrance mail then came and I sprayed him in the morning to be able to "savor" him all day, outside by the way perfect weather (rainy late summer day), I realized first: Puhh, boah (in a positive context) ok, now I know what was meant by "special". Slightly overwhelmed I thought further so grinning: Ok, what the hell is that now :D But somehow very cool. Quickly I was on fire and the whole "working day" long I got always times light and pleasant waves of this great fragrance.

But how would I personally describe the fragrance:
In the top note, he is quite "fresh" (and that he remains almost all the time). However, his home port is the "harsh", "earthy", "grassy" almost already "musty". Musty sounds now somehow not so cool but I mean it all really in the positive. It is really hard to describe this colleague. Here and there I got so gaaaanz very slight Terre d' Hermes vibes. Must be due to the grassy, earthy components of the vetiver. I would also describe it, in terms of scent sales, as relatively linear. So everything I described comes out sometimes more sometimes less and that's it. Closing time. But that's also good, because the fragrance is already very "outstanding". I imagine this perfume really perfect in late summer, autumn maybe still in winter in parts. There he is at home. When it rains he trumps the most. Durability and sillage is really top. No monster but he does not have to because he m. M. Perhaps overstrain. Thus, we come to the price performance: with about 23-26 € the 100 ml an absolute joke. Since you can after 7-8 h also times Nachsprühen. But must not.
The flacon is ne smooth 10! Since everything is coherent. Looks like such a black obelisk. Almost mystical, gloomy. The cap is in a dark wood look and rounds it all off nicely. I personally stand but as a metal fan eh on such a gloomy stuff and am there maybe a little too biased and no standard :D

Let's come to the conclusion: Is this fragrance everybody's darling? No! Smells he but very unique and special? What you can leave one! For me, it falls into the category: Not for everyone but UNBEDINGT at least times to test, if you are looking for something suitable-special in this dreary autumn weather :-)

Old love or why some things were better in the past ..
I want to clarify right at the beginning that my review is about the OG Dior Homme from 2011. The current versions have nothing in common with this one. But let's start from the beginning ...

Oh what were those wild times. Celebrate, pre-glow at the buddies and just have a horny time. My personal experience with this fragrance reminds me of exactly this time. My best buddy was the one who rocked the fragrance really every weekend to party going. Back then, as young and naive as we were, we didn't even know what a great little water this was. Or rather, I never asked. The scent was really everywhere in the air and I associate it even then with something masculine, noble, mystical, elegant.
That the fragrance should eventually awaken my love for perfume, I was not even clear at the time. The rest is history ... :)

Today, about 10 years later, my best buddy is of course still there, :)
i am happily married dad, who, well the young fathers know what I'm talking about, is pretty clamped. So it came but a few weeks ago, that I could me a little time off and met for dinner with the said buddy at his home. Somehow the subject of perfume was present again and we chatted and chatted and talked as perfume has also the YouTube world long in the grip. I told for example but also that I have registered in this great forum here and and and.

After some time, we also came to said fragrance. It shot out of me and I asked the same as the actually called. "Bro, Christian Dior Homme was that." He laughed and we remembered the old days again.
"Why, did you ask that not earlier, you fool".

I don't care about anything, I thought and immediately searched for the fragrance on the net. Damn! There is in the form yes no longer. I ran the week on it immediately to the next Parfumerie and smelled the Dior. Come on, it will smell similar. But far from it. No, it was not. It smells completely different. Disappointment spread. Well Parfumo had warned me.
I could not and can not understand to this day absolutely, how you can take something so absolutely great from the market or it changed in such a way. Well, on the subject alone I could write a review that would be much longer ...

Thanks to this wonderful forum but, I then found after some time but then still a residual flacon. The world was back in order. Everything was in the lot
and I have my fragrance again, which reminds me of wild wild evenings. To long lines in front of the disco, to come home in the morning at 5, when the sun rises ..
