Best fruity chypre/Diaghalev-like

Apparently I do like fruity chypre very much. Especially peaches seem to be my thing. Mitsouko Eau de Parfum is an absolute brilliant fragrance in my opinion.

Not a while ago I tried Diaghilev Parfum and I was really impressed! It's just gorgeous! This is such a refined and well-crafted fragrance, that I couldn't resist it.

The price is way to much though. I mean I don't want to spend a 1000 € on one fragrance. I am okay with 200 or even 250 euros.

maybe something like Chypre Palatin?

I'ld like the peach to be ripe and velvety. some animalic undertones and and some darker qualities in the base are as well wished.

Chypre Palatin is definitely fruity but more plum than peach, and I didn't find it to be particularly animalic 🤔

Have you tried Femme (1989) Eau de Toilette ? If not, I would recommend it.

Another, and perhaps juicier, peach chypre I'd recommend would be La Serpentine 🤍

I actually do poses Femme (1989) Eau de Toilette but for some reason, I don't not enjoy it the I hoped I would.

No animalics, but I think Shangri La (2022) is worth a mention.

If you want to try something really weird Electric Dreams is something worth trying, personally I didn't enjoy it but that's just because I don't like those types of fruits. It kind of reminded me of Fantomas Extrait de Parfum, another interesting one is Fango e Pesca but it's on the aquatic side. One that I have been interested in trying is Flora & Fauna I will sample it one day.

Oh and I own and love Chypre-Siam

Chypre Palatin is good but mostly cute (peaches, plums, oranges, spices). You probably won't like to hear this due to ALD pricing and availability, but if you want peach endgame, look for a bottle of Antiquity II Extrait de Parfum. He used a vintage persicol base, which is the most authentic smell of peaches you'll find. It pierces through everything and stays with you forever.

I was coming to suggest Freefall - Etruscan Water offcourse, but then I noticed that you are interested mostly in fruity part of Diaghilev Parfum which is the part not present in Freefall - Etruscan Water.

Maybe you can sample it anyway, it can be found at around 60euros on the grey market and is one of the best chypre ever done.

I do poses Freefall - Etruscan Water as a matter of fact, yet I don't find it as elegant as Diaghilev

@Alperten there’s no bite to it, I mean it’s perfumed by Duchaufour haha. If you want peach, I would really look out for a sample of Antiquity. Francesca’s stuff is kindergarten in comparison.
