title is self explanatory, does anyone have any recommendations? i normally gravitate towards sweeter and/or tropical scents (angel mugler, cheriosa 39, vanilla 28 to name a few of my preferences) and really can't stand anything too heavy. i've been eyeing powder love by jhag, is that one any good? thanks

Doll-like-creature from Necros. Powdery, but not making you smell like an old woman. Haunting, too. Very interesting and well made, absolutely one of my faves (still waiting for Parfumo to add it as well, it already added Corpse of a Star and the other one!)
A beautiful, haunting, powdery parfume. Worth 100%.
One that I quite enjoyed when I had a powdery phase was 
Vamp! (Pink), I think it's quite powdery-beginner-friendly and also friendly on the budget 😄
Powder Love is okay, very likeable, but light and not unique.

I'd also recommend:
Anna Sui (although I haven't smelled it in a very long time)
Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum is a very delicate, clean and lovely powder with a sweet tingle hidden in there that comes to you in sudden, comforting wafts...not a sillage bomb in any way. Calming and relaxing (addictive!)
Fleur de Peau Eau de Parfum if you like a not too strong powder with some musk added.
Teint de Neige Eau de Toilette is POWDER! Straight up POWDER which fits it's name, enormous sillage and one spray only. Not a safe blind buy, but something you could test for reference if you search for powder.
L'Instant Magic Eau de Parfum Very sweet powdery scent, I find it too sweet in the end
L'Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum beautyful, melancholy and great to understand 'guerlinade', vanilla is in it, done well and the powder in it is a bit 'moist'

Noble Blush Eau de Parfum has been my favorite- it's sweet and powdery and yummy. I haven't tested many perfumes yet but it's affordable and I think it'd be good to try for anyone who likes sweet and isn't too sure of powdery yet. Bakushin bakushin!

That said, I too would also suggest Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum, and maybe 
Vetiver Insolent if you're looking for something a bit more out there, even though it's still quite powdery and inoffensive.
Guerlain does some great powdery fragrances. Try 
Héritage Eau de Toilette if you find it.
