The Best Gourmand
One of the best gourmand perfumes ever made! Unique!
Imagine banana pancakes with caramel and hint of coffee. The scent could also be compared to banana bread. I'm not exactly sure which note creates the subtle banana aroma, but I absolutely love it.

The longevity is over 8 hours, and it can last for days on clothes.
The only downside is the high price - many people might skip it because of that, but i think it is worth every penny

Mine was purchased directly from their store in New York, but i've noticed it occasionally shows up on discounts sites in Europe.
If you find it at good price and you're wondering whether to get it - JUST BUY IT!

Dark mocha and caramelized banana
Coffee, caramel and the countless mentions of an unlisted banana note in the reviews drew me in to try this. And yeah, I'm not disappointed, that's exactly what I get here!

Surprisingly this reminds me a lot of Rihanna's Rebelle, which is one of my favorite celebrity fragrances of all time and can keep up with many more expensive releases. Both have the same creamy, bittersweet coffee and dark chocolate scent. Rebelle has a cacao note, New York Nights doesn't, but it still smells like it had one to me. It might just be the sweetened patchouli they both have.
The main difference is that Rebelle has a red fruity accord, while NYN has that phantom banana note and a salty sea breeze wafting through the scent. I'm a bit confused about all the florals in the notes list, this doesn't smell floral at all to me. As white florals can sometimes have a banana vibe, I suppose that this is what happens here, too.

All in all this reminds me of a frothy dark mocha with a caramelized banana on the side, both drizzled with thick swirls of dark chocolate sauce, served by the seaside. The patchouli and sandalwood in the base make it smell like a real perfume though. Even though I mentioned banana a few times, don't go for this if you're looking for a dominant true to life banana scent - the banana is just one small part of this, coffee, caramel and patch are the most important notes here.

True to the name this would be nice for nights out, but I think it would also work nicely on colder days.

It's a great scent that I would happily wear if it just appeared in my cupboard out of the blue. I wouldn't buy it for 300€+ when Rebelle is still available for a tenth of that or less though.

Caramel for Date Nights
As always, I tested this sample blind. No note lists, just my nose. Right off the bat, New York Nights hits with a ton of caramel and a soft, subdued patchouli. After checking the note breakdown, I could pick up the florals listed, but they’re subtle. Everything that is not caramel in this fragrance is more of a supporting player than a featured act. Then, on my next whiff, they've completely seemed to vanish. What remained was just a strong, straightforward gourmand, boozy caramel.

That said, of all the caramel-forward fragrances I’ve sampled thus far, this is easily one of the best. There’s no plasticky sharpness like I’ve found in scents like Cheirosa 62 or Giardini di Toscana Bianco Latte. This one feels smoother, deeper, and far more polished.

I picked up a decant after hearing Fanum hype it up, I’m not even a big streamer guy, and I've never watched his content, so I’m not even sure what convinced me to trust him. But I’m glad I gave it a shot. It’s one of the more elegant gourmands I’ve tried. Definitely for date nights. Completely unisex.

The bottle is stunning, as expected from Bond No. 9, but the $300 price tag is a tough pill to swallow. It’s a very good gourmand. If you're a caramel lover looking for something deeper and more refined, this might just be the one for ya.

Maybe if you’re 6 years old.
I live in New York City, and the only way my nights would smell like this would be if I fell into a vat of caramel and drowned in it. Except that’s not even a great analogy, because New York Nights fades so quickly that I wouldn’t have time to drown. This stands out as one of the most poorly blended fragrances this side of an CVS check-out lane. Are the materials high quality? Who knows—they are overwhelmed by Ethyl Maltol. The quality to price ratio here is so small you’d need an electron microscope to find it.

Sometimes beauty is only flacon-deep....
Even before I've opened the bottle, one thing is already starry for me: It's a smooth 10! This combination of blue star and colorful silhouette of New York at night is simply beautiful. He's a catchy trigger for me, too. Joan Baez's "Oh, Twinkle twinkle little star, did you ever wonder who you are, and do you think that life is just a Belushi movie..." from "James and the Gang" makes an endless loop in my brain and I decide to listen to the CD again. Optimal conditions for "New York Nights", one should assume.
But then I let the fragrance out of its flacon and the disaster takes its course.
I love New York and was lucky to be there relatively often for some time. The city really doesn't deserve this smell!! For me, New York Nights is an incredibly synthetic and artificial start. A deliberate, pretentious mixture of sticky-sweetish and salty-aquatic, which is difficult to endure. He's not developing any better in my nose either. There are also some (also quite artificial) flowers, which I find stuffy - in the background a note becomes more and more penetrating, which I would describe as over-scented "Salted caramel" chocolate. How often, when you don't really love a fragrance, it is blessed with an excellent shelf life and a killer silage....
I am reacting to Bond No 9s olfactory capture of one of my favorite cities snuffs. For me, the fragrance is like a brightly coloured pseudo plastic Barbie version of the New York I learned to love, the down-to-earth, lively, relaxed, hectic, self-confident and beautiful New York - full of heart-rending dark corners, with its extreme contrast between poor and obscene rich. Of course I expect too much from a fragrance, but this bond with its aggressive intentional artificiality gets on my nerves - and brings me to the brink of nausea.
"New York Nights was the first Bond No. 9 fragrance I tested. Sometimes, when I don't really like the first fragrance of a brand that I get in front of my nose, my hunting instinct wakes up and I test the perfumes up and down. But here I am really scared off, I suspect that the synthetic note of Bond No 9 could be the program.

Caramel is the main player in this scent. It opens with gardenia, jasmine. Then, patchouli and coffee. Sweet, gourmand, floral and creamy.

Mix of white flowers, vanilla, caramel and some coffee results in dense deep sweetness. Overall, the scent appears heavy but not overloaded.

Very indifferent scent. Not that gourmand. I guess I don’t like coffee in fragrances, only to drink it!

Definitely not one to blind buy. Sweet but not gourmand. Carnation, Coffee + Patchouli THEN some sweetness. Messy on my skin. Didn’t Like

Well composed but seems a difficult wear! Very interesting caramel-banana-yogurt smell that seems quite strong. Not for me, but good!
