Lovely fresh florals

I tried this fragrance in store the same day I tried Ginza (the first). Ginza is more delicate and subtle, more imperceptible and ordinary, while Ginza Murasaki has a more intense scent and is more durable on my skin. It would have been strange if I didn't like it, since when I looked at the notes later I saw that most of them are my favorites (apple, jasmine, woods, violets…). It opens very fruity, especially noticing the and then there is an evolution towards flowers where some are slightly perceived and the wisteria stands out, which is the one I am least familiar with. When drying, the wood is perceived, but the sandalwood only very slightly. I know it will stand out more when the weather gets warmer but I'm happy with the purchase. For a floral/fruity EDP, it lasts quite well, staying on my skin for 6~7 hours.

"Ginsa" (EdP Murasaki) is an Asian-aggressive apple perfume - for me extremely oscillating between vomit-inducing and congenial...

Apple in more natural and softer interpretations and types in perfumes is often a tricky thing. But here in this "Ginsa" (EdP Murasaki), our "favourite fruit" is pitched so high and overdone that the fragrance can only polarize. It is almost reminiscent of "Pulp" by Byredo, only slightly more suitable for the masses. Unusual for Japanese understatement, which is most likely to be associated with the overall appearance. And its church-blooded (tech) pond manias are also reminiscent of Tokyo and co. Nevertheless, there is also the aforementioned chemical laboratory romanticism, which makes you smell and can be off-putting. For me too, no question. At the wrong moment, in the wrong dose - oops, that's dangerous. But in the right dose and at the right moment, it can also be really great. Fortunately, the latter days outweighed the former for me. A dextrose geisha in a futuristic neon look. Cyberfunk: Apple Edition. Not an ever-walker.

Flacon: fantastically Asian and simple
Sillage: discreetly bucking the trend? Not quite.
Lasting power: 3-6 hours, no flight to Tokyo

Conclusion: a radioactive-radiant-fruity Asian mix that is relaxed and subtly different from Western trends without becoming completely unwearable or bizarrely exotic. Beautiful. Unfortunately, slightly pungent in wide phases in my nose, probably due to its clear synthetics and (passive-)aggressive appleiness. Otherwise top.

Refreshing shower air in summer

It is warm. Not scorching hot, but warm enough that a shower is wonderfully refreshing.
Another person in the household had this idea before you and really takes her time in the shower. She uses the apple jasmine shower gel, the flower shampoo, a light fruit hair conditioner with sandalwood. Then she turns off the water before opening the bathroom door, clean and refreshed. And what then wafts out into the hallway - that is Ginza Murasaki. A steam of fruits and flowers, refreshing but without any citrus or aquatic notes. Shower air after someone has used many different body care products. A fragrance for a summer dress, straw hat and sandals. In the end, Murasaki lies down to rest on a light, velvety pillow of sandalwood and patchouli.
My untrained nose is not really able to sniff out specific fruits or flowers, apart from the apple at the beginning. Nevertheless, I like it very much, as it makes me feel freshly showered for hours, even in the heat.

Nothing new in the East

I would like to ask those responsible at Shiseido what exactly an "Eau de Parfum Murasaki" is. according to Google Translate, "Murasaki" stands for "purple" - what that says about the fragrance or its concentration is beyond me.
In any case, the fragrance is not an unusual women's fragrance. Super floral, slightly sweet, mega feminine. Suitable for everyday wear, leisure time and also reasonably ok for business. As is often the case with designer fragrances these days, you don't get anything new here, just a slightly different mix of the familiar. That's not a bad thing per se, but the new product should have a little more to offer. In any case, Ginza Eau de Parfum Murasaki does not stand out from the mass of floral women's fragrances for me.

However, the sillage is definitely very good, at least for the first hour and a half. After that, it diminishes quite a bit, but remains good. After 6½ hours, the fragrance no longer exudes at all and can only be smelled on the skin for a few more hours.
The bottle is perfectly fine and the black "nail" definitely has something.

The Fuji apple in the kimono

Another fragrance that put me off in its year of release, 3 years later and 100 kilos of apples later, I really like this chemical box from Sisheido. And when I say good, it means I'm seriously thinking about buying a bottle. But why a chemistry set: I don't currently know of any perfume that has orbitones in its base (holones and spinones, no, not a spelling mistake, are quasiparticles), but let's not get clever here.... in the opening an authentic Fuji apple, pomegranate really as if you bite on these juicy seeds, I love this fruit, on Corfu I pick them fresh from the tree every morning for my muesli... i'm already digressing again:-) Freesia and jasmine go really well together here. Thank goodness I don't smell any violet, a little patch provides a green kick of freshness. I don't find this fragrance at all synthetic. Fruity, floral, somewhat aquatic. Actually goes on the WL. The sillage gives me the feeling of walking through a well-stocked fruit department again, where the fruit is deliberately moistened to give us even more of a "just picked" feeling
