Not the dark "killer" fragrance I hoped for
Honestly, I thought Killer Instinct would smell differently from how it does. Judging from the bottle design, fragrance name, the fact that an actual axe (and wall mount) was included as add-ons with the first production batch, and based off some of these notes, I thought this would head in a much darker direction.
What I get is an extremely soapy, tart, slightly metallic scent with a hint of oud underneath. Unfortunately, the oud does not get any stronger as the fragrance develops.
Perhaps the tartness comes from the blackcurrant and it's prevalent, although grapefruit citrus makes its way a bit more forward after about 15 or 20 minutes.
Killer Instinct is marketed as being a daily use fragrance but it's too soapy and sour for my taste. This is labeled as unisex but I feel it leaning more towards masculine, perhaps due to the hints of lavender. Average longevity with quite good sillage.
This one tickles my nostrils sadly. The opening is too loud for me, and although it tones down, something remains throughout that I don't agree with. I can't seem to find a situation where I'd want to wear this, unfortunately.
