Dull Water
The idea behind Acqua Colonia is perfect for 4711.
Simple colognes for a pick me up in hot weather.
The better examples do this admirably, they are refreshing and cheap enough to splash on with abandon.
Anything besies that isn't going to work and this is the case with Vetyver & Bergamot. Both materials are too heavy to be anything more than modifiers for citruses, lavender and herbs; it's too simple for a perfume and too sombre for a cologne.
It also smells too synthetic and has an unnecessary, cloying sweet powdery note.

absolutely unisex!
This cologne is very straightforward. The wonderful bergamot is unfortunately somewhat subdued by the vetiver. The freshness kick is not as strong as one might expect. When it comes to freshness, lemon balm + verbena surpass all other 4711 Aquas.
However, vetiver adds an additional dimension and creates an extremely successful connection with the bergamot. If a fragrance deserves the title unisex, then it is this one!
This cologne is on my wish list, because I like it.

Well, I'm convinced
I like bergamot, I like vetiver. Period.
The combination here from 4711 is very successful, no more needs to be said.
Fresh, the bottle is great.
Why look far away when the good comes from Cologne.

Transparent Nothingness
A fragrance from the category "Was there something?". A subtle modernization of the 4711 standard model. Only slightly greener, more masculine, and sharper due to a hint of vetiver. In very manageable proportions. A clean, cologne-like scent - and that is usually not meant as a compliment. You can tell its price range at all times.

Refreshing like a cold shower, but anyone who knows bergamot and especially vetiver in qualitatively better versions, meaning anyone who has tested more than 5 well-rated men's fragrances here on Parfumo, will be left quite disappointed. An entry-level freshie that doesn't even try to bring anything new to the table. It doesn't always have to be that way. And I do like the vetiver finish. However, the rest before it reminds me of Axe deodorants without the bro-image. The second half of the fragrance is fine, while the first half is rather dull.

Bottle: the brown is quite ugly, doesn't match the scent at all, but the bottle is great for its price range.
Sillage & Longevity: hardly to be caught, barely 4 hours on me. A very narrow chest!

Conclusion: okay for its price. Clean, fresh, transparent, and delicate. Vetiver beginner at the end. Overall, however, rather yawning.

"Mhmmm Bergamot!
Bergamot is the main ingredient of every EdC. The vetiver gives it a rugged note, making it suitable for men as well. Not to be underestimated!

For me, it's a completely synthetic scent. Vetiver and bergamot are more like imagination.

Refreshing, but without an intense bergamot note, it leaves a very subtle, barely definable trace on the skin. Vetiver?

A small but fine contribution to the topic of vetiver. The initially rich, then diluted bergamot makes the vetiver shine clean and fresh!
