Old fashioned / modern style

I was so exited to test this one (after all Abdul Samad Al qurashi is a master perfume house). A friend brought it along from Saudi and there we go… initial spray is a wave of grapefruit /pink pepper but like realy “thickness”, or is it the ginger (as mentioned in the notes) thats causing that “too much grapefruit”. When its settled it stays “thick” citrusy and i get some vetiver also. It becomes like a barberschop smell wich you wont get rid of it. Kind of Amouage silver tone in it (tone=barbershop accord). I get the same with isola sol Roja wich i find more feminine leaning because of the “thickness” in the grapefruit. Like it wont come out. Great Bottle great colour great price but a bit disappointed in the outcome sadly..
