Baccarat Similarity Given
The scent is indeed very similar to BR540. The cat pee note that I smell in BR540 is almost (but only almost) completely absent here, or is significantly weaker. In contrast to BR540, I find this one not as sweet and not as finely tuned as the original.
Keeping up with the projection and longevity of the original is probably impossible ^__^, the original you can smell and smell and smell…
This scent still lasts very well on me.
I sprayed it on at 4 PM the day before, and the next morning at 11 AM I can still smell it on my wrist, so it is still very much present.
Baccarat Rouge would have completely lingered in the air by now.
I think anyone who likes BR540 has a good dupe here (although this one isn't exactly cheap either). If I liked the original, I would probably rather buy that one.
The bottle of this perfume is unfortunately maximally unaesthetic for my personal taste. "The eye also eats a bit, right!" ;-)
Anyone who likes BR540 should definitely give this one a try.
