CPO #1 Everything from the beginning
The U2 has now earned a review from me, more from Al Rehab will follow.
Many years ago I had this CPO before, or was it even one of my first, or was it my first? *ponder* and I jumped to conclusions, or did I just not know how to use Concentrated Perfume Oils yet?
Yes, you have to find the right amount, but also the right parts of the body to a) not be completely enveloped and overwhelmed by the scent and b) also get a corresponding sillage from the perfume oils. both are sometimes difficult to combine, so the first test on the back of the hand is recommended to simply find out how strong the oil is in general.
With U2 we are dealing with a relatively strong fragrance, which after application and distribution first lospowert with a citric, which can quickly become unpleasant and also only after about half an hour to hour down to a uniform perfume, everything before is just concentrate!
At the beginning, the beautiful green citrus notes come to the fore, which later release the musk and light amber notes, until much later the woody notes play in, but without completely displacing the green notes. The unnamed green notes give U2 a certain coniferous background noise. A fragrance has certainly been copied here too, as is not uncommon with Al Rehab, but I can't immediately identify a direct fragrance twin, which is why I think that U2 is based on a classic fougère fragrance from the 80s/90s.
It lasts for almost a working day, but after 6 hours you still have to top it up.
I don't want to say much more about the bottle, it's a typical, plain, labeled glass ampoule with roll-on and screw cap, it's definitely the content that counts here, and Al Rehab often has it thick as a fist behind the ears!
Conclusion: If you generally like fougère-like fragrances, you should give this one a try, it won't be around for long because it's been discontinued... Highly recommended for spring/summer!
