beautiful 3*3
In over 180fragrances I owe, this one is the one I can say is lovely, delicious, sweet and addictive, not that the others are not but somehow the tonka , cinnamon and vanilla make an outstanding combo. Compliments every single time I wear it and the bottle is something to die for even some people may say is very kitchy. The price is as outstanding as all the other factors but by buying it you will be the proud owner of a masterpiece.

Set the table, it's time for pie
This one came to me as an impulse bay. I was actually looking for something fresh to wear for a holiday in the south and ended up with the most perfect fall pie. Usually gourmands really aren't my cup of tea, but this one ...
The first sniff was very special. The scent is complex and transports you immediately to a cozy place. The saleswoman described it as cherries, for me it was a freshly baked plum pie - if you look up the notes it turns out to be a mixture of cinnamon, rhubarb and almonds.
Just picture a stormy and gray afternoon in October, your mum just finished baking a pie and opened the oven - that's the smell of Imperial Peacock.
You can also smell the dark notes of the storm, so it's quite a complex creation. To me the smell is unisex. The drydown loses a bit of the scent's complexity and reminds me of a not so sweet version of Angels' Share.
For the price point, sillage is rather average. It is a compliment getter though.
The packaging is very opulent, just the cap of the flacon feels a bit tacky to me. Otherwise you definitely get your money's worth here.
Anyways, the perfect scent to sit back and relax, drink a cup of tea and watch the dark clouds pass by.

Beautiful, but too often smelled similar
Imperial Peacock is a really beautiful fragrance, no question about it.
Unfortunately, I have smelled this fragrance direction too often by now, so a purchase would no longer be an option. The scent gives me clear Angels Share vibes, albeit with its own twist, but still similar.

The fragrance starts off with this beautiful, familiar combination of cinnamon, tonka bean, and a bit of vanilla.
As a twist, we have rhubarb at the top. The rhubarb, in combination with the heliotrope, adds a subtly fruity, floral facet to the mix. Compared to Angels Share, the cognac accord is clearly missing here. That always provided a slightly "tipsy" effect. I personally always liked that very much.
Without this cognac note, I feel like something is missing, but this also sets Imperial Peacock apart from Angels Share, which is a good thing in itself!
The spiciness in the fragrance feels similar! Super well-balanced and just makes an impression.

Over time, it becomes noticeably sweeter and creamier.
The vanilla comes more to the forefront, and the fruity, floral facets completely recede. Towards the end, as the notes already suggest, it becomes slightly balsamic. But by no means should balsamic be equated with something animalistic here. Some people do that with this word. Sometimes it is the case, but often it is not!

The fragrance lasts about eight hours on my skin and projects quite solidly. Additionally, Imperial Peacock is definitely super unisex wearable!

Creamy vanilla-sweet almonds with a fresh rhubarb note. Fortunately, the sugar is tamed as the scent develops and becomes somewhat balsamic.

An instant dislike. I don’t get angel share from this either. Nice opening but horrid, pungent dry down

A closely woven, sweet and compact scent primarily made of almond, heliotrope, tonka vanilla & spicy cinnamon. A winter snuggler.

Wow, this cinnamon and rhubarb - sour and sweet all at once in the opening. Baccarat reveals itself in the drydown. The scent is only comparable to that.

The peacock, as noble as it may be, is known by its civilian name Baccarat Rouge. Here with an ozonic note, then distinctly sweeter.

Baccarat R. and Angels Share played parent-child, and this is their beautiful child. Sweet, cinnamon-spiced, initially fresh scent.

Autumn cake, fresh out of the oven: almond, cinnamon, and rhubarb. With a sweet sugar crust.
Decent performance, unisex.

Finally, a great rhubarb scent. Elegant with heliotrope, pleasing thanks to vanilla, exotic with cinnamon, and Zeuch - an August Oriental :D

A dream of sweet spice - really reminds me of Angels' Share.
Balsamic cinnamon is wonderfully present.
