Saffronity
Eiddya begins with a wonderful saffron note, wow.... i love saffron and the saffron here is absolutely authentic! Not like in a paella, risotto or anything else, no, this saffron is simply pure saffron, slightly spicy, slightly sweet.... but still "neutral"... I have never been able to smell such a beautiful aroma of saffron, simply beautiful....
The saffron is gently underlaid with warm oud... yellow-golden shiny this Oud-Safran combi wraps a delicate rose... She is daintily fine, somewhat ladylike, but also shy.... she giggles...
A little jasmine is added... gives the fragrance some sweetness and hold.... very nice...
When I take a closer look at Eiddya, the smell of an indoor swimming pool comes to mind... maybe it is the saffron that makes the fragrance so "clean"... somehow disinfecting.... But positively meant :)
Eiddya stays that way, but with time it gets a little warmer and more sublime... A very beautiful fragrance, I am thrilled... like a pity that it is no longer produced...
H & S are average, if you don't just wallow in them (which would be very attractive here ;-)
