Everybody's darling..
For me, there is no brand I appreciate as much as Arabian Oud. From their incredibly creative and innovative perfumes, to their dreamlike packaging and gigantic H+S..
Had I tested Arabella blindly, I would probably never have thought in life that it is a fragrance of Arabian Oud. When I ordered another perfume from the brand via the homepage of Arabian Oud, it was possible to get a small sample of Arabella. I was curious, although I was relatively sure that Arabella would not be my kind of fragrance and so it was. Nevertheless, the fragrance is pretty, just not for me..
Arabella is anything but oriental. Arabella is floral / woody whereby the flowers are very much in the foreground, as soon as the fragrance comes into the drydown.
Arabella starts fruity with lots of plum and a super lot of currants. The scent is relatively fresh, light and very summery. In the drydown, the fragrance becomes more and more floral. A very bright rose, fresh rose and a pretty green jasmine, totally displace the fruity notes in the drydown.
The fragrance generally seems very young, fresh and from now on very very floral. In the base, a very present musk note makes neat alarm. Perhaps the only note that is typical of some fragrances of Arabian Oud. A very clean, bright musk note that smells absolutely not animalic. Bright woody notes that are in the background from the beginning, ensure that the fragrance is not too monotonous.
In short, a very feminine floral fragrance that acts a touch green. I see the fragrance to a very young woman. She is carefree, happy, full of life and maybe a bit naive. But she is everybody,s darling..
Me too girly and much too flowery but generally a very nice summery fragrance, with a super good durability and a strong sillage. Stop typical for Arabian Oud.
