Synthetic vanillic cocoa?

There is something very in common with Eclaire Pistache and is breathtaking synthetic vanillia i guess.It's very strong and harsh in the first 10 minutes and than it goes away.I was ultra hyped for this fragrance , but i wouldn`t buy it if was able to tried it somewhere before buying it.I will definitely give it a try again few months later when it macerate , but for now it is too cheap smell even for the cheap price.If you want gourmand and sweet fragrance that is actually worth it go for Liquid Brun .

This is a special one!

Opening: DAMN... This is AMAZING! The name pretty much says it all. An overdose of milk chocolate, with pistachio and coffee is what I'm getting. Like a visit to an upscale chocolaterie. This is an extremely playful gourmand scent, not something you wear for a job interview. But I can see myself wearing this all day every day at home.

Dry-down: The coffee subsides, and gives way to a nutty accord to join the party... Making it slightly rounder and a hint less playful (so now just "very very playful" instead of "extremely playful"). The rest stays pretty much the same, and I want to eat my wrist!

My wife REALLY loves it as well! And fortunately, performance is top notch! Checked every hour with her from 2ft, and if no scent, 1ft, and if still no scent, 4" from skin.

I think this is going to replace my Khamra Qahwa as my "The #1 winter scent that has almost no versatility" when I finish my Qahwa. Both are very limited to where and when you can wear them.

Subjective Scent Score: 9.4. I'm a chocolate and coffee addict, so that makes sense.
Longevity: 9.1. 9-10 hours on skin, 12 hours on clothes.
Projection: 8.8. 2ft-3ft the first hour, then 1ft for 2 hours, then scent trail for another hour or so)
Blind buy safety score: 4.0. This is not a versatile "easy wear"... You need to love hyper Gourmands and really love chocolate. It's creamy, nutty, chocolaty... Not a safe blind like Khamra or Liquid Brun. It's more complex, and won't be a love for many people.
Unisex Score: Perfectly unisex.
Versatility Score: 2.5. Very playful and cozy, and winter-fall only. Not even REMOTELY office safe.
Value score: 8.0. it's $27 (USD), but at least it's nuclear. Was $43 when released, then dropped to $35, and now it's $27... My guess is they'll keep it this price until next winter is over.
Bottle design: 4.5. A little ugly and silly.
Atomizer score: 5.5 (pretty weak).

Authentic Dubai Chocolate: Delicious, but Short-lived Pleasure

Nowadays, it feels like everything is infused with the hyped Dubai chocolate, and now I had the chance to test a fragrance dedicated to this theme.

The scent captures the theme very well and belongs to those gourmand fragrances that are so realistic that one might think a delicious dessert is hidden somewhere. Those who enjoy this will love wearing this fragrance.

Not only are the chocolate and pistachio clearly recognizable, but the "sweets from the Orient" vibe is present, which makes this Odyssey stand out from the crowd of realistic chocolate gourmands.

Upon spraying, there was briefly a bitter and not particularly pleasant note, which fortunately disappeared after a few minutes.

Unfortunately, a bar of chocolate is a short-lived pleasure, and this fragrance unfortunately reflects that. Just before heading out, I sprayed it on and found it very intense. After the short walk to my daughter's kindergarten, it was only a skin scent. And now, I haven't even made it to work, and it's already gone.

For the price, one could certainly reapply every 30-40 minutes, but in my job, I unfortunately wouldn't have the opportunity to do so: I need fragrances that last until lunch.

Maybe I'll get an AF for vacations and weekends, because somehow I find it very tasty, but the longevity is a significant downside for me personally.
