Right side of kitchen cleaner
I’m extremely ambivalent about this scent. Not one of my favorites from Atelier Cologne, not by a long shot, but not the worst, either. Some days I enjoy the unique lemon-vanilla combo, some days it makes me sick. The vanilla is fresh, sharp, almost sugared, and very strong. It’s just on the right side of kitchen cleaner. And the vanilla is similar to the vanilla in Vanille Insensée, which I love. But sometimes they don’t blend together right.

Here and Gone
This is a nice cologne but it doesn't really make me think of beaches or summer. Its a tart lemon with a little bit of sweetness. It reminds me of the lemon heads candy. It eases into a soft white floral with a hint of the vanilla. The biggest problem is that the fragrance is longevity, or the lack thereof. It lasted only 2 hours on my skin and it had minimal projection after the initial spray. The price for this seems to vary depending on the distributor, it can range from $146 for 100ml or $63 for 100ml. I don't think this fragrance is worth either of those prices. There are plenty of citrus beachy scents out there with more complexity, projection, and longevity.

Great Citrusy Tropical Vibes
Here’s a fragrance that is affordable and, in my opinion, flies clearly under the radar: Lemon Island from Atelier Cologne. This brand is marketed by L'Oreal, and it made a significant breakthrough with the wonderful "Orange Sanguine | Atelier Cologne." Aside from this "orange juice scent," none of the other fragrances from this brand have really made a splash. However, there are quite a few scents that are already more than solid. True to its name, you get rather fresh fragrances that, while not bad, also don’t last forever. Some last longer, some less so. This one, due to its sweet base, lasts a bit better. Lemon Island is a fitting name for this fragrance. It captures the theme of fresh citrus fruits with floral-sweet tropical vibes. I really like this direction, and this theme works very well in the height of summer, making it optimal for those who enjoy sweet scents in hot temperatures. In terms of price, this fragrance is a good deal. I bought 100ml for just over €50. The "slow sellers" from this brand are sold at good prices.

The fragrance comes in a simple box. The uniform bottle is attractive, feels good in the hand, and works flawlessly. Otherwise, it’s rather unremarkable.
The scent DNA slightly reminds me of "Armani Privé - Bleu Turquoise | Giorgio Armani." I can’t agree with the similar fragrances listed here. Some are stylistically close, but not in terms of DNA. The fragrance clearly goes in this wonderful floral tropical direction, which is the main component of this scent. Summery white florals are very dominant here, and this fragrance stands out from the usual styles. As I said, I recognize similarities to the Armani, but here it’s in a citrusy rather than aquatic guise. The citrus fruits at the start are really juicy and pleasantly summery, with this wonderful lemon note that also leans slightly towards lemon sorbet. The summery jasmine quickly takes the lead. The floral notes simply smell like pure summer, and there are also light neroli vibes coming through. As a third note, Madagascar vanilla joins in. A wonderful vanilla note that perfectly rounds off this trio and is great for those who like sweet scents in summer. The notes are very harmoniously intertwined and fit together really well. A fragrance that works well in spring and summer and is absolutely unisex. Some gentlemen might find it too floral.
Performance is above average for this brand, also due to the sweetness in the base. It lasts a minimum of 5-6 hours with 2-3 hours of very good sillage. It’s hard to overspray this fragrance, as this scent profile lays beautifully on the skin and has a wonderful summery radiance.

I really like it as a whole package, and if you can get it at a fair price, it’s a great option for summer. Those who enjoy lemon with floral-vanilla notes can definitely give this a try.

Short Trip to Summer Freshness
In search of a fragrance that I find bearable even after exercising, I stumbled upon a sample of “Lemon Island” a few days ago. I had completely forgotten about it, perhaps because citrus scents are often not to my taste.

However, “Lemon Island” is not sour-citrusy, as I had originally expected. The green lemon is prominent, juicy, but not too sunny. It refreshes - without the Schweppes face. Jasmine and vanilla create a balancing counterpoint, but do not push themselves to the forefront.

Right now, on gloomy and stormy January days, “Lemon Island” feels uplifting. It’s like a short vacation in the warmth, perhaps Mediterranean, perhaps a Canary Island (though I can hardly judge that).

Unfortunately, it’s not more than a short vacation: the fresh and distinct top note loses strength relatively quickly. A creamy, well-groomed hint remains on the skin, lasting for hours.

Oh yes, “Lemon Island” passed the sports test. The intensity is just right, and no disturbing or synthetic note develops.

fresh citrus vanilla with a floral touch. Very limited fields of use because of the beach vibes, however very natural smelling

Lemon, or any citrus, seems to be missing from this fragrance. It is powdery, generic, dull.

Starts off zesty with juicy lime. There's also white floral cream with a hint of sweet vanilla + sea breeze. Clean Caribbean vibe.

Exotic freshness. Iced yogurt with lime zest and vanilla. Sweet-fresh, perfect for summer. A great way to shake off the winter blues.

Citrusy-floral scent: refreshing on its own in summer, but also great for layering with, for example, Vanilla 28: it gives lemon cake!

lime-green, wonderfully fresh lemon, is combined with ylang-ylang-infused vanilla to create a delicious citrus/vanilla/floral buttermilk cream.

Stranger things on Lost Island. Very strong lemon, then salty jasmine washed ashore that completely robs you of freshness. Creepy.

Smells like lemon powdered sugar settling on my skin. Soft, with a powdery sweetness complementing the gentle lemon note.
