My Millenial Love

This was another favourite in the late 90's and early 00's. Sadly, Avon discontinued it, and my stockpile vanished. I used to wear this to work and nights out, and I got comments on both occasions.

Millennia remains strongly floral: it's given depth by the lemon, frankincense and vanilla. The lotus note with its compliments make this unique and amazing. The sillage and longevity are also good.

At the Turn of the Millennium

Today I received a letter from the past, and I am now thoughtful and nostalgic.

For inexplicable reasons, I felt like wearing an Avon fragrance - actually quite fitting, as those were the scents of my childhood.
Wally, our Avon consultant, was a dear guest to me.

I rewind time and see my mom and me rummaging through the sample case and flipping through the colorful catalog.

Today, I scanned the shelves with my eyes and stopped at Millennia.

Most likely released by Avon at the turn of the millennium, and a legacy from my dear mom.
Has it really been eighteen years already?

But the scent is still completely intact and remains contemporary in its own way.
It already has a nostalgic touch through jasmine and lily - yet it leans towards the romantic side.
It does not come across as outdated at all.
Orchid and incense are delicate and ethereal, ensuring nothing feels overwhelming.
Soft and creamy, vanilla joins in, harmoniously tying the fine fragrance together.

It was a beautiful turn of the millennium - with many dear, unforgettable companions.
