A successful men's fragrance
At the end of last year, I bought a box with a 30ml bottle and a 75ml shower gel from Bogner for Man at auction for a relatively low price. To be honest, I didn't expect much from the smell, but in the end I was quite impressed and pleasantly surprised. The longevity on my skin is 8 to 10 hours with a pretty solid sillage.
The top note starts sweetish, refreshing, fruity-citrusy, oriental-spicy but also somewhat synthetic. I recognize mandarins, cinnamon, lemon peel, allspice, pepper and nutmeg. The heart note goes in a greenish-herbal direction with hints of artemisia, rosemary, aniseed, basil and thyme. The base is quite sweet, creamy, balsamic, woody and powdery with aromas of sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, amber and cedarwood.
Since I liked the Bogner for Man and unfortunately all Bogner fragrances have been discontinued, I will gladly let this one remain in my collection.
