A girl's leather designer hand bag with florals

The first statement on here got the scent pretty spot on. It definitely smells like a clean, modern and luxurious dentist's office waiting area. I smell the white leather chaairs, the distant synthetic cleaning products and a subtle floral scent that permeates the atmosphere. But it also smells like a girl's leather designer handbag where she forgot a vial of floral fragrance and it spilled into the bag.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a fan of leathery fragrances and I was about to cross it off of my decant list and forget about it. I decided to try it out since I'm trying to branch out and I will say I was pleasantly surprised overall. Elevated and sophisticated, in the air it smells like the two aforementioned things. Up close, things get a little stranger. I get the clove, but on my skin it's spicy and almost BO-like. Not my favorite thing. When it dissipates later on, that's when you start getting florals and a strong, clean white leather scent. Not car upholstery, but more vintage designer hand bag. With the florals it gets sweeter but also more feminine. It's more palatable to those who are getting into leathery scent and want something more subtle and soft. Drydown goes softer, sweeter and more powdery with an inkling of woodiness deep down.

Since I'm not a leather fragrance kind of girl, this won't be going into my collection, but I've got to say I was pleasantly surprised overall. If you love soft, understated leather scents, this could be a lovely choice!

the challenge of the white wave

To start: marzipan instead of leather! The scent evolves into bitter almond, ultimately approaching soft, light leather - extravagant!

Bergamot and lemons, spiced with cloves: Not the typical Advent scent fruits for room fragrance, but rather an exotic citrus spice, following the marzipan wave quite rapidly into the rich wall of predominantly white flowers: It's something to get used to, but also somehow exciting to dive into it!
I suspect tuberose and lilies, alongside many equally delightful white roses emitting their fragrance.
To counter too much "flower snow blindness," lavender spice and the ever-reliable, here seemingly old-fashioned violet charm have been added.
Both marble this immense white with purple scent patterns, offering a bit of variety.
Dreamy, almost intoxicating, a magnificent, animalic-earthy-dirty scent image emerges: Thousands of white jasmine flowers exuberantly intertwine with patchouli - wow!
What a decision for this pair as the highlight of this already unusual creation.
The first step off the path is famously the hardest: This statement holds true here!
It takes courage, perhaps even a touch of madness and some patience to dive beneath this first, powerfully crashing wave of an unfamiliar arrangement, which slowly approaches the more familiar.
For the base then opens up again in a more familiar, far more adapted, almost conventional way:
Marzipan transitions via bitter almond to light leather, which swims softly, warmly, and sensually in a bath of tonka bean, vanilla, and musk aromas, completely surrendering to this sensual pleasure, in a lightly breathing, smoky scent world surrounded by cedar with ample amber accents.

Thus, "Jasmine White Leather" from the already quite interesting range of the brand Bohoboco concludes rather conventionally, albeit beautifully and flattering.
This fragrance experience, the ride on the first, powerful wave, the immersion into the white opulent scent avalanche, and then this warm enveloping leather fragrance comfort bath - yes, it has something exciting, sensual, and extraordinary.

Time for full scent development is generously available; on my rather cool skin, this certainly does not unfold like in laboratory conditions:
It becomes my own scent adventure, my immersion and initially somewhat helpless paddling in a white composition with still unfamiliar notes, which slowly, but then sustainably and impressively reveal themselves to me.

After the initial shock, the unfamiliarity follows curiosity and finally a cozy pleasure in a rather extravagant scent, a companion for very special moments.
Or perhaps as a cozy, voluminous nightgown for cool winter nights?

I kind of agree with the previous review, but for me it feels more like a high end store? In the best way possible. The clove gives it a little edge.

Intensely sharp at first, like an owl, then increasingly marzipan-like, sweet jasmine with a hint of pee. Thankfully, the leather saves the scent. Exciting.
