At first sniff

Coup de Foudre starts with pepper, citrus, and subtle damp woody oud. Then there are very sweet, well blended florals. So well blended it is difficult for me to pick them out individually. Finally, a little pine, subtle sandalwood, woody/menthol oud, and vanilla. The pine and sandalwood tend slightly masculine for me but I think this fragrance is really unisex. Both pine and sandalwood can become overwhelming but they are very judiciously used here. A modern, easy to love chypre.

Love at first spray

When I stepped out of the front today with Coup de Foudre on my skin and the fresh, very cool air hit me, it suddenly woke up and came to life. After spraying the scent on in my warm house, it seemed it had tried to hide. Or maybe it was almost drowned in the everyday noise of the morning.

Coup de Foudre is a floral Chypré, which lets its ingredients flow so skilfully into each other that there is no bright flower that really stands out. (to name it) At the same time, citric chords give a freshness and transparency to the fragrance rather than having to shine for themselves.

But the special thing is probably the sandalwood used, which was extracted from over 100 years old trees in Indonesia. Behind this gem is Dmitry's partnership with Russian Adam on FeelOud. There they call this sandalwood "100k". It´s a whole different ball park, with it´s unbelievably fine and accentuated structure. It has an almost butter-soft characteristic and even appears as complex as an own fragrance - in the fragrance. Similar to some Oudh varieties, this sandalwood oil is so multi-layered and complex that it is not quite clear whether Dmitry could only strengthen and elaborate the notes in the wood through flower infusion or whether they were already present in all their beauty.

As a result, I actually fall in love at first sight, as the name promises, and find a slightly sandalwood-smoky, floating floral, but also unsweet, fragrance on my skin, which radiates particularly well in cool and fresh air.

for me fragrance is an overwhelming surprise super quality very clear view of the notes but also tightly interwoven, seamless and beautifully linked fragrance is very sweet, accessible and cozy and heart warming and makes music I have not heard the song for years during the test I could hear it, has never happened to me for that I had hardly any pictures hmm ?!

love goes through the nose

Little treasure for those passionate days

After a beautifull 20 degrees spring day, the evening 20:00 here is cooling down. Before dinner jumped in for a fast shower en get the Coup de Foudre out of is winter sleep. Love at first sight!

A soft citrusy opening sweetened by the beautyfull asian champacas and then i felt it goes way back the skin, a moment i missed it and thougt wtf where is it!?

Luckily it returns with a combination of expensive quality flower and historical sandalwood with the sweetened citrusy at the background. A beautifull secret close to my skin and perfect for moments of romantic passion :)

If you find it dont hestitate... its an absolute treasure!
