King Vetiver !

This is a floral and Vetiver combo . Especially the champaka flower note and Neroli are very prominent from the beginning and vetiver is the backbone of this fragrance which made it very different from other vetiver fragrances in the market . Surely they used ruh khas vetiver oil in this cause I have tried some real Ruh khas vetiver oil and this Vetiver note in it somehow smells like them. Its definitely a different type of Vetiver based scent . Quality is Top notch once again from Bortnikoff . The Oud is listed but its very subtle and bearly noticable but sandalwood is very noticeable at the base . Very nice blended perfume . Definitely a Must try fragrance for sure .

Wonderfully Staged Vetiver

Oh my goodness, I have never experienced such authentically fresh grass, as if I could really bite into it right away and would fill my mouth completely, a heaped plate of sour, freshly plucked grass with a hint of sweetness. It has a touch of kohlrabi, a certain vegetable note, light green-white, that really triggers that "bite-in" reflex, as one fellow sniffer remarked. The neroli itself is rather very subtle, completely attached to and subordinate to the intense vetiver, you hardly find anything orangey in it.

After 15-20 minutes, it becomes a bit more floral, but fresh foliage also comes into play, making it not less green, perhaps a bit fresher, with morning dew; another 5-10 minutes later, you can also recognize concrete, but fresh, lively wood in between.

Later, after 1 hour and more, it becomes woodier, resinous, sharing this with the intense grasses; the sandalwoods and amber blend beautifully in, dried moss, but nothing takes too much of the spotlight away from the star vetiver, the oud adds a hint of animalistic depth, great dry down with a certain complexity in hours 2-3 and beyond.

Overall, a fantastic, unique vetiver scent, intense, but not too monothematic and yet always focused on its main role.
