An oriental flair from a French perfume house
Fil d'Or N°2 really surprised me positively! LM Parfums is generally a totally underrated French brand. It flies pretty much under the radar.
So far, all the fragrances I have tested have been really good.
This candidate here has a lot to offer. If you like oriental fragrances or have a taste for an oriental flair, you are absolutely right here.
The scent starts off predominantly fruity and spicy. Saffron is clearly noticeable to me. I couldn't identify the fruity notes individually.
I wasn't expecting a bitter orange. My assumption leaned towards a tropical fruit with a light honey coating.
After a few minutes, floral nuances come into play for me.
There is also an impression of peach notes rising up.
Overall, it has an oriental touch. An oriental flair definitely spreads out.
I believe I haven't smelled anything like this from a French house before. It really amazed me. Well done!
There is also a very light touch of cinnamon added.
In general, it feels quite high-quality and definitely complex.
Fil d'Or N°2 also builds a certain warmth and sweetness over time.
Additionally, I occasionally catch very, very slight animalistic traits in my nose. Interestingly, I don't always have that! Some days this feeling came, and on others, it did not.
In combination with these fruity and pleasantly spicy hints, it works quite well. It's really nice!
The scent lasts on my skin for about 8-9 hours.
The sillage is also really good.
Fil d'Or N°2 accompanies you almost all the time without "roaring" too excessively. The fragrance is also super well-suited for unisex wear.
