Beautifully summery with a noticeable Neroli note
Windsor Tonic really appeals to me overall.
This fragrance is summery fresh with beautiful citrus elements.
However, we also have a relatively prominent Neroli note here.
The Neroli accord is really well balanced. Still, I find it a bit too dominant.
With Neroli, my nose is always a bit cautious. Over time, this relatively prominent impression becomes milder and better integrates with the other notes, and from then on, I really like Windsor Tonic.
The fragrance starts off beautifully citrusy, slightly green, and sparkling.
There are subtle tea vibes coming through.
I really like that!
Relatively quickly, the aforementioned Neroli note joins in.
Quite present and confident. In my opinion, it's a bit too much, causing the citrus elements to fall slightly out of harmony.
Over time, a subtly spicy cardamom character emerges. Cardamom is lightly dosed, but just right to make the whole thing work beautifully for me. The Neroli also becomes milder and softer, which I think benefits the fragrance.
Towards the end, the citrus elements diminish, the Neroli becomes softer, the cardamom is no longer perceptible, and a clean musk comes in its place.
The fragrance is wonderfully unisex wearable. Longevity and sillage are decent to even really good. The longevity for me is about 8 hours, which I really didn't expect.
When it comes to projection, Windsor Tonic holds back a bit.
The fragrance is there, but it definitely doesn't shout and is generally more discreet in that regard.
