Sophistication and nostalgia
I remember spending my hard earned babysitting money on a bottle of Chloe Narcisse for my junior prom in the late nineties. The advertisement for this one was very romantic and included a smelling strip. It's a heavy fragrance and to me it was very grown up. Perfect for prom, right? Years later I would find another bottle of it and realize in retrospect that I probably wore far too many sprays of this super potent daffodil concoction. The thing about Narcisse, it is far too mature for a seventeen year old but never the less... there I was, dripping with Chloe Narcisse in a backless red satin dress with my hair piled high on my head (a feat that took the salon stylist 2 hours and hundreds of bobby pins to achieve). Such memories this scent stirs up!
