No mood boost for me
I was really looking forward to testing this fragrance when I read all the positive reviews saying that this was a nice floral. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed when I got around to testing it.

I'm not a big fan of fruity florals. Happy Spirit to me is more of a fruity floral rather than a floral fragrance.

The scent opens with the orange and raspberry notes, which together blend nicely but smell somewhat synthetic and overly sweet. This is typical of most fragrances on the market today which use raspberry as their ingredient. They tend to aim for the sweet, candy-like raspberry scent rather than the raw, actual fruit.

The fragrance mellows slightly with the introduction of the honeysuckle and osmanthus notes, however I think this scent is a little too simple, a few more floral notes may have smoothed this fragrance out nicely.

The drydown isn't bad, however it too could do with some more complexity. The cashmere wood note I find doesn't blend well with my skin chemistry and ends up smelling a little like play-doh on my skin.

Overall, Happy Spirit is a pleasant and girly scent, which obviously appeals to some, but is far too boring for me.

Old Favourite
I am not a fan of fruity-florals but this scent is very powdery and I have never worn it without being complimented by many people with different tastes.
It's such a warm scent and very delicate.

The bottle is does nothing for me, although many have commented that they like it but, it's neutral.

The price is definately amazing - such a bargin.

Compliment
It was sunny in the park and my friend and I had both indulged from my Happy Spirit bottle.
How well the sunny scent matched the weather!
Mmm - bitter orange and raspberry - a beautifully bittersweet blend.
Refined by honeysuckle and osmanthus. Very exclusive.
We were in a good mood and felt confident.
So we hesitated not to take off our annoying clothes and lay down in the grass. After all, we were wearing stylish underwear.
We watched the nimble squirrels as they elegantly hopped from branch to branch.
Suddenly, an old gentleman with a cane left the sidewalk and approached us slowly.
He paused by us and kindly said that he must mention what beautiful women we were. He lifted his nose and sniffed - and added: With a wonderful scent.
Then he went on his way.
I was deeply touched by this compliment. My friend scoffed: Well, from such an old man!
But that was exactly what was beautiful! Aside from testosterone surges, he had expressed his opinion quite objectively. That meant more to me than the judgment of a young whippersnapper.
The old gentleman must have seen and smelled a lot and looked back on a wealth of experience.

Happy Spirit is a friendly, attractive scent, beyond any age.

A Miracle Cure for the Autumn Blues. ;)
While 'Brilliant Wish' is one of my favorite soul-soothers in spring, 'Happy Spirit' skillfully takes on this role in autumn.
Here we are dealing with just as much of a charmer; one could almost consider it the equivalent of a sparkling golden gem.
While 'Brilliant Wish' feels delicate, gentle, and almost uplifting, providing a crazy sense of carefreeness, 'Happy Spirit' offers self-confidence, inner peace, and sovereignty in everyday life.
Here, you fly less above the clouds, heading straight for the sunshine - here you stand firmly on the ground, supported in handling all kinds of challenges in daily life with ease.
And even though 'Happy Spirit' feels like a rather serious, mature scent to me, it is truly a miracle cure against the autumn blues.

'Happy Spirit' moved in with me sometime in June - yet another blind buy, as I was already totally thrilled with the 'Wish'es (okay... the pink one is pretty weak), 'Cašmir', and 'Enchanted', and the blend seemed totally to fit my taste - at first, I didn't know whether I liked this scent or not. It was interesting, but it didn't really fit.
Okay... it was hot outside, 'Happy Spirit' is, despite its bitter component, more sweet than bitter... so into the cupboard with it and wait for autumn to arrive. And bingo. ;)

Especially when everything outside is anything but friendly; gloomy, rainy, temperatures between 0-10 degrees, 'Happy Spirit' truly develops wonderfully on me.
It brings warmth where there is none; it offers trust, especially self-confidence, where there were actually doubts; it leads to hidden sources of one's own strength, where one has felt rather weak.
And it feels invigorating, even in the dreariest weather, where I would often just want to hide away.

The scent itself is actually relatively simple; there is hardly any noteworthy development on me.
First, there is a bittersweet mix of bitter orange, raspberry, and osmanthus (I don't even notice the honeysuckle *shrug*), which lasts about an hour before amber, cashmere wood (I love it!), and a bit of musk make their presence known, wrapping me in this wonderful, definitely sensual blend for several hours, motivating me and keeping me in a good mood (almost) no matter what comes my way.

Regarding longevity, sillage & bottle:
I find the bottle a bit... erm... kitschy. To be honest. But as princess-like as 'Happy Spirit's' outfit may seem - the content is amazing. Top-notch. :)
In terms of longevity and sillage, it's exactly my thing; it lasts easily 6-9 hours (first stronger, then naturally a bit weaker until it disappears) and despite a noticeable, albeit closer-to-the-skin scent veil, it doesn't knock anyone out.
Even though I sometimes indulge in up to 5 sprays (I generally dose rather sparingly).

By now, I love this scent; the name is the program, and I wear it almost daily. Just whenever I could use an extra dose of mood, self-confidence, and calmness.

In this spirit: Hakuna matata... :)

Recently at the Discount Store...
A few days ago, while doing my shopping at Lidl, there were plenty of Valentine's Day offers. Hidden on the shelf across from the refrigerated section were some bottles of "Happy Spirit" for an unbeatable €19.99. After recently rediscovering Heaven and Wish by Chopard, I thought to myself, "Oh come on, give it a try," even though the heart-shaped bottle with its cheap-looking cap made me doubt a bit. I tested the fragrance on my skin and jacket and instantly felt like I was in seventh heaven. Wow - I was really taken with it. Slightly oriental, floral, sweet - and yet incredibly delicious. I'm not usually one for floral scents. But I found "Happy Spirit" so wonderful that I couldn't say no to this bargain. Two days later, I returned and grabbed the last pack. I can't really pick up the top note; for me, musk and cashmere wood come through immediately. I smell less raspberry and bitter orange. For me, it's a fragrance for the cold season, wrapping me in warmth like a cozy, soft jacket.

Herb fruity with a slight bitterness. Interesting. Stands out from the crowd. Good longevity.

At the art fruit exhibition, they scented the exhibits to make visitors happy. Quite nice, nothing special.

I'm sorry, but tastes vary. There's something in here that triggers a gag reflex for me...

A fresh, creamy all-rounder for going out and everyday wear. Assertive, without heavy gourmand notes, yet never overpowering.

Red fruits with sweet flowers. Unfortunately, in a somewhat kitschy, artificial version that you can quickly get tired of.

I really like it! I've bought it many times. It's super cheerful and uplifting. I wouldn't want to be without it. Underrated here.

Sweet-synthetic fruit mash, musk + amber notes, disturbing synthetic wood, sharp-bitter = bitter orange? Slightly creamy. There are better options.

My first sniff on the wrist: floral, fresh, friendly. Applied on the neck and collarbone: unpleasantly bitter and soapy. What a shame! :(

Fruit mix, lightly soapy, on Wish musk. Hairspray finish. Reminds me somehow of Gliss Kur, I think the pink Silk Shine line.

floral, cheerful, clinging to clothes like a girls' party scent sprayed too often during pre-gaming, leaving alien vibes without jasmine
