There is something about this scent that I really don’t like. I think it’s the cooked apple scent in there, it does remind me of by the fireplace by Replica because it has that same smoky caramel quality that I did not enjoy in either. It smells like fall decor, not so much cookies or kisses. I think if you want a more toned down By the Fireplace this would be a good option for you

The name here is misleading - it's not gourmand like a real cookie or apple pie. No apple notes detected, as some claim. Also many compared it to "Replica - By the Fireplace | Maison Margiela" , which isn't close in my mind (that one is so smokey, I couldn't stand it).

This is soft vanilla gourmand + ambery-musk + cedar chest + "forest". I saw someone say it was like tossing baked goods into a pile of leaves and that is absolutely spot-on - but they're freshly-fallen autumn leaves that are still wet from a cold rain, and there's a fire inside a cedar cabin nearby that you're about to go enjoy.

This definitely is more masculine-leaning, but it's still slightly sweet - like a sexy patchouli bomb, with some spicy warmth. I'm a "gourmand girl" but would 100% wear this on a cold, rainy autumn day with a chunky sweater, or out to a hay maze.
