Vanilla ice cream and sun oil on warm skin
One of my favorite vanilla scents. It starts almost synthetically, like butter vanilla baking aroma, but in a fascinating way. Childhood memories on the one hand, on the other hand quite sexy. Like sun oil on warm skin.
This vanilla has nothing sad-morbid like Un Bois Vanilla by Serge Lutens or Vanille Exquise by Annick Goutal. Nothing floral, nothing woody, nothing fired up.
Just positive associations: Vanilla ice cream in a freshly baked waffle. A holiday flirt. A carambar (French caramel candy) that has become a little soft in the beach bag.
The shelf life is good, but not extreme like Lolita Lempicka's Lolita.
You can't complain about the Sillage. However, the scent is so addictive that it is never clear enough. You want to smell it even more intensively, you press your nose firmly on your arm until you are almost dizzy. Like falling asleep on the beach in the sun.
Who does not get the EdP any more, is well advised with the EdT. It smells very similar, but not quite as oily-intensive
