Polarizing for sure
The rumor has it that it’s actually Windsor they brought out of the vault. I’ve never tried Windsor due to its price tag (around $1,000 if I recall correctly) and haven’t tried the original Royal Mayfair either, though I do prefer the design of the new bottle.
To me, this smells incredibly sophisticated, with some "old money vibes" and feels best reserved for special occasions. I can’t see myself wearing it as an everyday smell, though it might work in the spring (it's honestly spring in a bottle). The scent is likely to be polarizing due to the eucalyptus note in the opening, but it’s honestly amazingly bright. I suspect it won’t receive the love it deserves because of it. After 4–5 wears, it seems to be a solid compliment-getter with the opposite sex and has a good 8hours of good projection.
