A sweet, poisonous red apple
I must have smelt this fragrance when I was holidaying in Melbourne, because everytime I smell this scent I think of the city, the shops and the busy streets.

I much prefer this fragrance to the original Be Delicious because the apple note isn't so prominent. I like how this fragrance has blended the apple note with raspberry and litchi, creating something that is unique, divine and very fruity.

I was shocked to see leather as one of the listed notes, but I'm rather glad because it has changed my view on leather scents. I once viewed leather as being strong and distasteful, yet now I really like it.

Red Delicious is such an intriguing fragrance. One minute I'll be thinking it's passable, the next minute I'm totally in love.

I can't wait until Summer so I can test it in the warmer weather. I have no doubt in my mind that I will be making this fragrance my favourite scent for the hotter months.

Like Moths to the Light
Yes, the bright red, beautiful, warm color drew me in.
No tester in sight.
Special offer. Blink, blink.
Bought!
Unfortunately.
After I found the green apple be delicious and the pink fresh blossom quite nice, I am simply disappointed by the red.

The red apple comes across as very synthetic, artificial raspberry, artificial rose, artificial apple, artificial vanilla, and some kind of piercing note; however, there are no piercing essences in the fragrance pyramid, no idea what that is. The fragrance composition feels anything but harmonious to me. Somehow, the essences don’t really fit together here. It lacks a fresh note. I also find it heavy.

Strong sillage, medium longevity (about 4 hours). The scent shows no changes after spraying. Top note, heart note, and base note immediately merge into a mush.

No repurchase candidate.

Coincidence
Today I tested Diamonds by Armani and the Red Apple by Donna Karan, one on the left hand and the other on the right. I didn't specifically choose these two fragrances; I just grabbed two available bottles in the designer fragrance section of the local drugstore during my lunch break. It was truly a coincidence that I ended up with Diamonds and the Red Apple.

Therefore, it was completely surprising to me that both fragrances smell almost identical (the Karan scent is a bit more quirky, but otherwise I hardly noticed any differences). No wonder, the fragrance notes listed here largely coincide. And it's also no surprise that Lolita has been quite harsh on both fragrances - if you don't like one, you probably won't like the other either. By the way, I don't like them either. Indifferently pleasing yet still intrusive.

Thick Air
Not only the bottle, but also the scent inside is thick and round;
a chemical bomb and definitely not for Kalle! The stuff strongly reminds me of those artificially sweetened maraschino cherries; (the color is spot on!)

The apple smells flattened, rotten, and dissected.
Roses for the funeral and later squeaky sweet raspberry tarts with vanilla pudding for the wake feast. Evil eBay Buy-It-Now fingers! ps. Who wants it???

The Red Apple...
I bought the fragrance because I had smelled it on a coworker and actually liked it. On me, it smelled artificial, synthetic, overpowering, heavily sweet - but too sweet - my mucous membranes started to burn. It's incredible how the scent unfolded negatively on me.

I find the bottle original - but that's unfortunately all! I then gifted it to my colleague - oddly enough, it doesn't smell so bad on her.

Outside: love apple from the fair. Inside: more like a plastic apple, watery and quite trivial. I didn't want to listen to Parfumo...

I mainly perceive the apple, lightly sweetened by raspberries. In the end, rosy powder sprinkles in.
Very successful!

This apple has a worm in it. Smells as artificial as the red drink chemical bomb Tritop from my childhood, ugh, shakes head....

I liked the scent, as an exception here, on me. I didn't find it too sweet, a bit artificial but still.

A richer, spicier version of Be Delicious. Suitable for evenings and going out, unfortunately discontinued.

Delicious! I found it amazing on me and I still love the scent - I'm very sad that it was discontinued.

Sweet sticky apple. Artificial soda on the neck, a feast for the lovely insects in summer. Not for me.
