Delicious Delights Dreamsicle DKNY 2015

Guess who made me buy this? My teenage daughter, who else. Her comment: "How on earth could someone NOT love this stuff?" It's the opposite of complicated, a simple, straight-forwardly peachy fragrance. Linear and synthetic, but if you like peach and apricot and don't want to spend a furtune on "Peau de peche" by Keiko Mecheri, this lovely summer delight will do. I am officially allowed to sneak into my daughter's room and share with her. Isn't she generous? (Btw, we both thought this one was by far the best of the 2015-trio. The green and the pink scent weren't as good as the peachy one).

"Kullerpfirsich" is such an old-fashioned dessert - or is it supposed to be a drink? A (small) peach in a glass of sparkling wine - the bubbles are meant to make the peach spin over its slightly fuzzy skin. How to actually consume the wet peach has always been a mystery to me...

Visually, the bottle does look a bit like a cross between a peach and an apricot. And that's how Dreamsicle smells too. At first, I still perceive a zesty note, probably the mandarin. Unfortunately, this disappears very quickly (otherwise I would give it 90%!), and after that, I can only recognize the sweet apricot-peach mix. I don't notice any apple (unfortunately), nor any of the other notes. Later, the perfume becomes very powdery on me.
This perfume does indeed feel a bit like this Kullerpfirsich to me: at first, you think - "oh how nice!" But then a bit of disillusionment sets in...
