Spontaneous comment: "Diorella? Why not?"
Like probably most of you, I am currently sitting at home a lot and spend the days off at home. Very happy about this free time I use the opportunity to pursue one of my hobbies, reading. Especially novels and thrillers I am very fond of. Vocationally I lack for this in the everyday life unfortunately often something the time, so that this can be made up on days like these fortunately in peace "after"
Meanwhile, I stroll but again and again to my collection or my whole Pröbchen over to sniff again and again a treasure or just spray me times. So I recently discovered a filling, which I actually have a while with me, but for me inexplicable reasons had first left: the perfume version of Christian Dior's Diorella.
The fact that I really like chypre fragrances is due to the basic composition of these types of scents. Hesperidic top notes, floral middle and earthy-mossy base. Wonderful components, all of which are among my favorites.

This perfume concentration is impossibly classy and classic. While the scent is described here as animalic, I personally don't perceive it that way. With Animialik I often associate notes such as civet, castoreum, amber, musk and partly leather. As the only one of these notes is listed here musk and even the I smell - with much effort - only very subtly out.
In my eyes, it is an incredibly elegant and pleasant Chypre, not at all scratchy, harsh or brushy. Begins he does aromatic-fresh with fine citrus notes and tart-intense basil in the background.
In the further course, he develops his classic aura with green chords and floral nuances. However, these are very cleverly embedded and envelop the aromatic freshness that the fragrance continues to maintain. You get the feeling they are there, and yet somehow not. Really very interestingly done, I think.
Towards the base, it gets a little drier and mossier, which is due to the woody notes towards the end. Overall, however, he remains very friendly, restrained and really soothing.

I have tested the fragrance on my skin and must say he holds with about 7-8h for a basically fresher fragrance quite long. Despite its intensity, it remains over most of the time rather skin, but this fits the character, I think.
In colder temperatures like these it could mMn probably go down a bit. I would rather assign him to the intermediate seasons, that is, the spring and pleasantly warmer autumn days. Believe namely that he would then best come into its own.
Certainly he can be worn very well in everyday life, yet I think he fits possibly even a little better in the evening hours. Because he radiates for me already a kind of "Ausgeh-Aura".
Conclusion:
Even if I am always open-minded towards fragrances that are classified for ladies and own various myself and wear very gladly, I personally see this fragrance but rather on a lady. For my nose, it is already feminine and ladylike; a fragrance that I do not see on myself. Nevertheless, but charming find and at a woman very much would like to smell.
It embodies elegance and sophistication in a classic chypre character. I feel him as a rather fine, very pleasing and delicate Chypre, which stands the fragrance but very well.
The name alone, Diorella, already sounds dreamy. And so dreamlike is the fragrance itself also.
